Lovely video, but you did what I see many sim pilots do on non-FADEC turboprop engines, which is to overtorque on takeoff. You should NEVER exceed the torque redline. It's perfectly safe for continuous max torque operation up to the redline (although it might shorten gearbox life), but going above the redline risks gearbox failure and requires an expensive teardown & full inspection after the overtorque event. A copilot is often helpful here. PF sets initial takeoff power to roughly 70-80% torque, then calls "set takeoff power" and the PM fine-tunes the power levers to obtain required takeoff power (usually around 90-95% max torque while making sure to stay within ITT limits).

Thanks for your feedback. I've found it hard to find good information on all the relevant procedures. I wasn't sure how much power to apply.

Your explanations are great. I just wish there was a written version somewhere on line, because I would like to try turboprops on XP.

I'm enjoying this series. Hope you continue it. The grass and ground textures at this airport look good. Are they default XP? Thank you. -PT

I plan to cover navigation and landing in this aircraft, and then do some actual flight videos. The airport is an addon, Pilot Plus EGHI Southampton.

Does anybody knows where the wind is indicated?

I think it's shown on the HSI, but I haven't flown the aircraft for a while.

hi, does the gps have a moving map ?
@supanova887 жыл бұрын
I haven't used the GPS on the B200, but I believe the GPS unit used is the G430, which does have a moving map.

It's a shame that you did not film an outside view so we could see if the Nose wheel and Suspension is animated Your videos other wise are good

That would be a review rather than a tutorial, though. I hope to return to review the aircraft at a later date when I have spent more time with it.

I just got this game this morning, I want to now how to brake and go faster
@supanova887 жыл бұрын
When taxiing, use throttle to get the aircraft moving, and adjust to maintain correct speed, and use brakes to stop. You will have to look up settings to configure whatever controllers you're using.
