Here are the lyrics translated in English: I see a hall standing there, more beautiful than sunlight, Thatched with gold at Gimlé. There bold men will dwell Enjoy cheer throughout their lives. Gimlé Gimlé Gimlé There bold men will dwell Enjoy cheer throughout their lives. Enjoy cheer Enjoy cheer Enjoy cheer There bold men will dwell Enjoy cheer throughout their lives. In Norse mythology, Gimlé (alternately Gimli as in Icelandic) is a place where the worthy survivors of Ragnarök are foretold to live on a mountain in a golden-roofed hall. It is described in the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda as the most beautiful place in Asgard, more beautiful than the sun. Beautiful song!

Zum ersten Mal via Bluetooth-Box im Schwedenurlaub mit Dachzelt gehört. Ich habe mich völlig in der Musik verloren und währenddessen auf den See vor mir geschaut. To say this song came out at the perfect time in my spiritual journey is just the only way I can explain it without sounding silly to some extent. Everytime I have listened to this song, whether it be in my car or with my headphones, I shed a tear or two, but everytime slowly feel some part of sadness leave me. I picture the beautiful Hall he describes, and I feel lifted. You have lifted my spirits beyond words explanation, and I thank you so much. This is my number one favorite song on the planet to date.

Thank you Gealdyr for the voice of all modern pagans, thank you for the formation of culture and patterns for all of us, modern pagans and for paganism at all. As for me - Video sequence shows to people that our ancestors and our fathers and grandfathers are fighting for good and for peace. Not for the blood and evil. For our families and our Earth. The mother of Thor. For the better future. The future is the right word. Its not always about past, like many people think about us. Thank you Gealdyr. From Ukraine.

I admit I feel a little self-conscious sharing this, but I feel it's relevant. While I do technically have Nordic blood in me, I'm as brown as they come (black/hispanic) and I found this on a whim looking for background music while working on some art.. and I genuinely find this absolutely beautiful. I don't know much about this, but I love Gealdýr's and Wardruna's music and hope it shows it can reach beyond unexpected boundaries.

Skál!

Hello, I hope you read this comment. You don't know me, and I don't know you by the way, only your creativity. But nevertheless, I want to thank you, I thank you for those emotions and connection with the world that you convey through songs with your voice. There are such moments in the life of every creator that you start to think “why am I doing this?”, “Why?”, “Who needs this?”, I hope you don’t think so. Because... Because if someone is looking for it, then it is necessary. Why and for what? And why live without use, exist without meaning? But if you do it, then it is necessary and the plan of the Creator is undeniable. And about myself, then... when I'm sad and I'm lost, I walk and listen to your songs, I feel better. Once I was walking in the forest, I decided to listen to your song about the world tree and... touching a simple and unremarkable tree, I felt something for a second... maybe some memories or something else. But ... at that moment in my thoughts were the words "and? is it worth living for?" and then I understood little of it. But life goes on, we learn something new, and among the wanderings through the labyrinth of the mind and different beliefs, I came to only one opinion ... Yes. That is what makes life worth living. What is always there, here, now. Right at this very second. We will lose because we will die someday, so what? What?... So you need to relax and wait for your end? No. You need to do something and change the world (preferably for the better). Most people do not see this, everyone is afraid and everyone suffers. Routine and misunderstanding of being prevent them from washing away the filth from their eyes. You change the world, you know?... You helped me change. Perhaps you will say that there are many different musical groups and what is it? No... There are many, but you are the only one. You were able to give me what I was looking for. Someday I will go to the horizon under Gealdýr - Gimlé, nowhere, into the void into the arms of the Creator, maybe someone will be waiting for me at the end or maybe not, but... it doesn't matter. Thank you for this... for everything. I hope you're doing well, don't be sad there, okay? Everything will be fine, the main thing is to believe in it and want it, as well as to manifest yourself in moments of truth. Good luck.

Whether we die or live, what matters is why we fight. Fight for what you love and wish to further. Then no matter whether you die or live, you have done right.
