+James Faris I don't have an iphone 6, but the time I was working on a film taking videos for BTS, the director's shots on his iphone 6 has less noise and are brighter than most of my shots. That I believe 2 years from now, phones will become ripoffs for lightweight DSLRs and better DSLRs would, of course, not go on phone prices level so they have to, eventually, become even more expensive. SAD!
@WilliamTM9 жыл бұрын
+Blue Neck Media 2 years from now? No, it's already happened. The 4K quality on the iPhone 6S Plus blows my [relatively old/basic Canon 700D] DSLR out the water. The iPhone isn't perfect - but if you attach it to a rig of some kind (tripod/gimbal/etc), it's pretty damn incredible.
@blueneckmedia45909 жыл бұрын
William Hook You use a Rebel too? I use an ancient 550d for photo and video. Sensor's seems attracted a lot to noise/grains, that's why the 6 blows it much farther than your 700d lol. I aim for a 70d, but still can't afford it due to spending some for a couple of equipment I needed

Nice to see Emily taking a supporting/comic relief role. As for the setup...WOW! Thanks for the breakdown. This really goes to show starting out thinking a camera & lens enough....then you realize you need so much accessories. ....The sacrifices we make!!! But I really think it's worth it.

Also, I think that you said that you wanted to get the GH4, if you pick that up it would be awesome if you shot film riot in 4k with it and uploaded the 4k to KZbin. 1080p on youtbe is crappy but down scaled 4k video on my XPS 15 is jaw dropping. I will watch videos just because the are in 4k sometimes.

On a slight tangent, what bulbs are you using in the softbox? I purchased those 115W multiturn CFL lamps, but - to be honest - the 20W CFL in my front room / 28W "Double D" on the ceiling puts out more light than those things! I'm now (about to try once dark) a 20W LED So what do you use? NB: Is that an LED panel top right or a 2/4 tube CFL (Kinoflo style) lamp?
