So what really matters will they make this for the walther pdp? What is this guys deal with the vp9 it’s a good pistol but definitely not the best. Walther pdp is very similar to vp9 but more affordable, better trigger, better grip texture, better slide serrations, higher capacity, and all models come optic ready. So what am I missing? Is it just a name thing?
@asdfghjk2933 Жыл бұрын
VP9 is the same or better in every way except the trigger (which is very debatable). Mine literally came with 20 round mags, plus you can do some basic work on the trigger to make as good or better than any PDP trigger out there. Mine has a much crisper and shorter break with less overtravel than my buddy's PDP (even with the performance trigger upgrade). It also has a 2.7lb pull weight and feels like a damn 2011 trigger. Seriously, although the PDP has a nice trigger with a pretty short pull, it has a ton of creep too. Reminds me of a glock with less travel in that respect. It's not objectively better than the VP9 trigger. Both have pros and cons. Stock VP9 trigger has a longer reset, but the stock PDP trigger is much mushier and doesn't even have a defined wall. Overtravel and take up are about on par, stock vs stock. Not to mention the PDPs weirdly high bore axis. It's one of the few 9mms I've fired that feels like a damn .40 cal. It's also kinda ugly compared to the VP9. Something about the build quality isn't up to par either. It felt like a polymer toy compared to the VP9. How's the reliability on the PDP? My VP9 has literally gone for 3500 rounds without cleaning and I haven't had a single malfunction. Sorry Evan, but you should get your facts straight before trashing a super nice gun. I'm not saying the PDP isn't great - it's a hell of a lot better than any glock out there and ONE OF the best strikers, but better than a VP9? There is a reason it's cheaper, and it's not just because of the HK vs Walther logo.
