How do you rig the Herron onto the bobber? Do you just use the whole fish and put it on there?

There are a couple ways you can rig the herring: whole and cut plug. I will do a separate video for that portion

What you use for the river fishing the Puyallup at the moment. I'm using for keys but I want to go for after Kings and Silvers

Really appreciate the information. Great video. Have to ask have you ever caught any of the king's or silvers from a kayak? Is that even allowed? I am from Tennessee and its really tough understanding all of the rules and regulations. Anyway have a awesome day.

Absolutely you can from a kayak. Coho and pink salmon can be caught pretty regularly as schools will show themselves by jumping. I cast buzz bombs or smaller darts to the schools

Kings will be vertically jigged around bait. Our sound king salmon season for most areas is closed but some of the piers stay open to retention year round

For Puget Sound it is single barbless. I would check regulations for your area

I live in yelm. I'd like if i could try to catch them on kayak. Where can i go for kings and silver?

To get both, you will have to look at the marine area regs to see where kings are still open. Usually by this time of year they are closed in most cases for the puget sound for saltwater

How about rubber gloves to mask your scent?and use the bait scents too.

You absolutely can use gloves no doubt. At a minimum I run scent just to mask the human scent

For sure.good video.i grew up in tacoma and fished les Davis pier with my dad.at about 10 yrs old in 1986 dad hooked a nice king salmon just with c ut herring,handed me the pole and that damn salmon almost took me and the pole over the rail..lol.tight drag.dad caught me and we got the salmon.alot of flounder there as well.have a good day.
