I was wondering do you have to put the replacement adhesive on the new battery or can you just stick it back in without it?

Better to have some sort of adhesive. At lease double sided tape

Can you be a little more specific on how much to heat the battery so the adhesive softens? Does the heat go thru the battery to soften the adhesive? Looks like it would be easy to overdo the heating!

I have a problem with my motorola g pure, the battery stuck at the same percentage 98%. This happen before, i restart my phone didn't work, i use a light bulb to heat up the back a little bit didn't work too. it could be the battery problem, so I got to get the replacement, and the touching too i have few scratches on the touchscreen,

Not workng for me. I've tried all sorts from pieces of plastic to tiny screwdrivers and am unable to make a gap in my G Pure

Take out the tray. The gap can now be made next to the empty tray frame. Be careful not to break the case.
