SOS: I have kept it in storage for a year. It was called Ruko then. It powers up ok ..I don't see the view through the cam on-screen, even if I can control the flight. I wonder if the camera is working - I don't see any on/off buttons anywhere. 😬 These things having both a proprietary remote controller and your phone working in tandem depend on a lot working together.

For real estate home pictures I would recommend getting a drone with a attachable camera ( GoPro) you will get better picture quality but it will be a little more difficult to change angles since you have to move and position the drone for the angles of the camera

Bought on 2 weeks ago. It is definitely NOT a toy, and it hurts like hell if it hits you. Trust me. I am new to drones, it takes a while to become familiar and comfortable with flight controls and flying.

Shift the speed to high. It will "get it... " especially into a wind. Little hard on batteries but not too bad. It's strong.. With 2 lights on the batteries it will head back home. You can push it out but it keeps heading back. With one light left it says to heck with you and comes back and lands on its own. Also I was surprised the first night flight. When batteries get low the lights switch to red and white flashing instead of blue and white steady. It's easy to see at night. White coming at you blue going away.. I'm having a ball with it. Drones love trees. And trees love drones They get together when ever they can. Haha

Just got this for my birthday. Super fun! But every video I take stops at about :11 seconds and then there is no camera view showing on the app on my iPhone. I’m flying it close to my home so I turned off the Wi-Fi Auto Join function thinking perhaps that was interfering. It wasn’t. Now I’m wondering if it’s because I’m not saving to an SD card?? Excellent review! Can you explain the “return home” altitude? Beginner mode is 25. What does that mean? If your at 100 and hit RTH, does it drop to 25 and then come home? In your demo, it flew directly overhead while staying at 118, and then came down. Thanks

These things are one tough SOB.. I got mine 2 weeks ago and have crashed it about 5 times and it's not even fazed. I guess that's why it's a fold up because where it's for beginners they figure you will crash it and the fold up part offers it cushion.

This drone is good for wind,it moves around because it dosent have an optical flow sensor but it would handle wind better than alot of drones.its rated better than my mavic mini for wind.generally the bigger the drone the better the wind handling.

Just got this and it broke on its first flight after flying into a tree. Despite being calibrated as per their instructions the thing seemed to fly entirely of its own accord. Very slow response to controls and seemed to change front back orientation at random. I tried fly by camera and that didn't help either

Yes, in days gone by, we use to call this method line control. Tie it to a set of long cords and swing it around yourself quickly. With a little practice you can do loops or even reverse direction going straight up and over the top. Hope you get a phone the experience is awesome.

If you load the app while not connected to the drone, then click on the map it will download the full Google earth map for where you are. Then reconnect to the drones WiFi and enjoy landmarks 👌

Yes, I haven't been able to bypass it. It's an FAA regulation for a max altitude for drones.

There is no microphone. No audio. Most drones have no audio, as while its flying all you would hear is the buzzing of the props. So audio would me useless.

Load Ruko Drone. App New in Sept 2020.. For f11. Works great. Save local map in maps for way point. Turn off beginner mode for waypoints out to 300 yards. Also make sure WiFi is hooked up. Hover and set waypoints.away she goes.

Hi, I have the F11 and it's a great drone but I lose the picture on my phone once it goes past around 200 metres. Is that normal? I've tried airplane mode, mobile data off but still the same. I am flying it from my back garden over residential area so don't know if that has any bearing. My phone is the Huawei P20 Pro. Thnx

Yeah it's the same for me, especially when flying around a neighborhood with more interference. Try finding a lake or remote area and you'll get some more range out of it.

I have the Tello. Poor camera (low resolution, jumpy image), drone blows around in one mph wind. Pro: no registration. Edit: don't leave batteries stored for months,: 2 of 3 had died permanently.. Also, I had a lot of trouble making it work with my Samsung S10. The app as downloaded was missing a few features too. They told me they were incompatible (did I reach an iPhone fanboy I wondered)?

Bought one in july ..using it 3 or 4 times a week. Now taking it out of sight toutinly. FPV out to 600 meters on flat ground. It's a rugged drone.. I now use the waypoints a lot it really is idiot proof. Don't be an idiot. Read the directions several times. Tie it down on top of a cooler. Practice the set up in the house. Do not fly in the house. Tie it down and do the map stuff etc until you get it figured out.

Way point works great if you open maps and let it find you before you do anything. Then use satilite view. Leave maps open. Set your Wi-Fi and open the drone app. Now you have good map in the waypoints box. 300 meter radius red circle. Take out of beginners mode.
