Oh its good to come back to this franchise. 1000% it’s a crime I can’t just buy and download 2 or 3. And even worse is you’re comparison with the master chief collection is so on point since it’s Microsoft! A billion dollar company, that wants to compete but then forgets about their IPs ahah, wild. Hope all is well!

The Queen wasn’t revealed until Gears 2. A lot was changed in the Ultimate Edition that just dropped hints or what Gears 2 and 3 will bring.
@Dog.Dad.Studios17 күн бұрын
@@SteelerFan716 ah! That’s wild, why do you think they did that?
@SteelerFan71617 күн бұрын
@ I think it’s to make their vision for the trilogy become more cohesive. The original ending cinematic for Gears 1 was the voiceover from the queen, but with another random general flying on another bug. The Brumak chapter you played wasn’t in the original game, either. That was added as DLC. Gears 1 felt like a horror game, with a last, desperate struggle for the COG. Make sure when you best Gears 2 (on insane) to listen all the way to the end credits so you can hear some reaction commentary to your actions at the end of that game from a “surprise” character.

Gears of war 1 is my favourite of the franchise. It’s just so dark and gritty it’s more of a horror really in a way. The atmosphere is spooky and full of despair. Also the best villain of the franchise RAAM . And I love the kryll segments .I know it’s an unpopular opinion as most people go with gears 2. Anyhow gears 1-3 is epic gaming . Hoping for a Fenix Collection soon 🤞

What about the changes did you like or disprove of? Thank you so much for sharing your opinion on this. Ahaha, I just worked out some stuff on the software end with my mic, and really trying to learn sound engineering, so I'm excited to know who I could sound like. That was a quick reply also happy to hear about the upcoming gears of war 2 video, cool. Not really a big fan of having Ultimate editions and the rest of the games being in an MCC like collection(MCC was bugged at launch and 10 years plus a PC port later it's still kind of bugged), I prefer the games to remain separate. Though The Coalition seems to be more competent compared to 343 industries. As for the changes between OG and ultimate edition I can't really say as it's been so long and to be honest I'm a very causal fan of gears of war. Got into it after seeing my aunt play 2 on her x box and later played the other games on my friend's x box. Your audio seems pretty good throughout the whole video. I guess you kind of sound like Mandalore but also someone else. Didn't know you could stream games from the X box store on PC. Also also probably going to be a long way from now but if you ever get around to gears of war judgement there’s like an entire extra act(aftermath) locked behind challenge points. Best of luck and enjoy the beautiful lancer MK2. I hope gears of war e day is fun.

COG (Coalition of Ordered Governments) is the super state that Marcus belongs to. Think of a more integrated and militarized NATO. The other super state in the lore is the UIR (Union of Independent Republics). The COG and UIR fought against each other in the "Pendulum War" for 79 years before the emergence of the locust. "Gears" are what soldiers are called in COG society.

@@Dog.Dad.Studios It's mostly extra lore from the comics and novels. The prequel game, "Gears of War: Judgement" briefly mentions the Pendulum War. The upcoming game in development "Gears of War: E-Day" may expand on it, but it's mostly focusing on the initial locust invasion.
