This is the complete story cinematics of the Brumak in Gears of War so far that explains the lore we know up to this point that they were creations of the Locust Scientific Geneticist Ukkon, they were effected by the Imulsion Countermeasure machine like the Locust Drones crystalized and evolved into a new Swarm sub species of the Locust Horde. The Brumaks returned 25 years later awakening inside the Locust Burial sites turned Swarm Hives as the crystalized Swarmaks. Thats what the story lore these Brumak cutscenes so far explain to us in-game. Im going to have many more Gears of War series with commentary explaining the lore & origins when it comes to characters including their backstory in the comics and books too this series is just game focused.

Original brumak design was inspired by the trex, guess adding the roar was like a nod from where the idea came from.
