This is the only review of the DJI Osmo Action that mentioned about the single channel recording. Great info. Thanks.

Yes. When I was looking at the osmo action in the first place I couldn't find any info at all anywhere about it

You are SOOO RIGHT. I have my Osmo Action and I'm very happy with it. No complaints at all. It all works and in a magnificent quality. It's with the Gopro like Apple. Much too expansive for a smartphone with these limited solutions and possibilities. Buy a Samsung and you know what I'm talking about.

exactly. You know the deal for sure.

OA has what we call Dewarp, no other fov of linear or narrow just wide and software dewarping awesome review

Yes, the dewarp is cool. It does make things look flat when on the outside edges of the camera, but otherwise its been really great.

Just as I was about to pull the trigger on the $200 Osmo Action, they jacked the price back up to $300. You snooze, you lose😫
@GearsAndTech2 жыл бұрын
I think the osmo action 2 being so expensive has made the price of the old osmo action jump up
@davefink23262 жыл бұрын
@@GearsAndTech that's what I thought! The company didn't want to cannibalize the new model sales with promo pricing on the old one.

I love my DJI. The only thing I don't like is the poor low light performance. After some reading I keep my ISO low at 800, but still the clips are quite poor with grain. Even my old very cheap SJCAM is better in low light. Very frustrating!
@GearsAndTech3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I actually experienced the same thing. If you bump the iso too high the video starts to develop a lot of digital noise though. So it's a fine balance
@ronyzmiri3 жыл бұрын
@@GearsAndTech Just today tried with iso 800, indoors, from light to shaded area. I dont like the results. The cheap camera behaves better. What exactly to mean by fine tune or balance?
@GearsAndTech3 жыл бұрын
If you know you will be going from bright to dark leave iso on auto rather than a fixed iso. The camera will switch to the best iso for the conditions.
@ronyzmiri3 жыл бұрын
@@GearsAndTech the iso is on Auto mode, but it is limited to maximum 800 iso. Still I don't like the noise in the darker area. The camera movement were slow and too fast between light and dark...
@GearsAndTech3 жыл бұрын
When it's at 800 iso in low light it's going to have that digital noise. You can manually increase the iso max higher. It will make more noise, but you will get more light in so you can see what's going on at least.
