I use a fractal design define c matx case, fanless psu, and a thermalright macho rev.c. With the fan settings on silent in the bios it is inaudible. I had a focusrite interface and switched to an rme babyface pro. I get a lot better CPU performance with the rme. The drivers are much better.

Dude I hear you on the AIO’s with the pump in the rad, I have an MSI Liquidcore 360 and 6 months it’s dead, I’ve always been Corsair having never had an issue with there AIO’s but thought I’d try something new, Lucky AMD have said the 5800X running at 90-95 won’t damage it cause it was doing 80-90 idle but seemed like everything was good, programs said the pump was running and there was heat transfer in the pipes, turned out the pump was a dud so back to Corsair I went

I think you'd get away with a 5900X. I've had decent results with 240mm AIOs and the 5900X. The trick is undervolting it a bit. It will drop the temps quite a bit.

Is there any such thing as a silent (or quiet) SFF (or compact) gaming PC? Perhaps with a 4090 or 4080? I'm trying to pick the perfect case.
@Alp577 Жыл бұрын
It’s possible. My Ncase M1 with 4090 is very silent with EK 240mm 13700k on a conservative fan profile. Some compromise on thermal (74C GPU and 80C CPU while editing or gaming), but it’s almost dead silent.
