This is a great video, I've been considering going to projector for a while now. One thing I would suggest is not just showcase the top end ones that many can't afford, especially in these times, more budget friendly ones would be a nice touch.

Any review on how this project works with external media players like Apple TV? Especially when it comes to HDR content?

Can't wait until 4K 120Hz projectors become the norm. After moving to high refresh rate gaming I can't go back to 60Hz. Epson LS12000 is the dream but it costs 10 thousand dollars here. Would be great to see more projector content, not a lot available from a PC enthusiast / gamer perspective. Love your content btw!

I've installed a Benq Tk700sti in my living room for gaming and cinema, 16ms input lag @ 4k hdr 60fps. It's perfect for consoles even for very demanding games like shmups/fighting/fps... Short throw, super bright, silent, very decent image for a room that is not light controlled with a cheap screen, perfect at night. I've ditched the TV because, invisible home cinema on 106 inches > oled tv, and I don't watch tv during the day anyway. Not a big fan of laser TVs/UST projectors because they actually take up a lot of space. You can place a short/long throw projector and a pull-down/motorized screen on the ceiling and forget about it, but for a laser tv/UST, due to the very specific distance and position between the screen and the projector, it can be very challenging to make a clean/invisible install for a real everyday life usage in a living room.

@@projectornews ah yes because the average person can afford a 150 inch TV. Clearly you missed the point

All depends on what’s important to the person I bought my 65” when it was one of the newer sizes out and paid $1400 (2017) for it. I just bought this projector on a Black Friday sale, for almost the same price with a screen.

This thing is cool, but the cost is high... get this and the screen and it's $4k. You can get an 82" OLED for less. But still it is pretty cool concept.
