I’ve got the order version and I’ve had it a couple years. Weird how it states in the description on the website that it takes 10 minutes to get fully hydrated. It’ll soak up an entire sink of water and not drip in a few seconds and cools for hours. I love it. Hmmm Ride safe

Yeah I dont know why they say 10 minutes. Its like 30 seconds.

I literally ordered this the day before you posted. I need it for 90F and above rides for long distance on highways, where the road surface temp can reach way more that 120F

Nice review. I've been looking at something like this as well, but just haven't pulled the trigger. I assume since this is for your body area, your head still gets very hot. What happens when you use it over 100 times? Does it begin to break down or just doesn't work? That's the part I've been wondering about.

Thanks for the review. I picked up the black one today, it was $55, but says 1-2 minutes on the label. I don’t see anything about how many times it can be used. How’s that black mesh jacket? I just rode in from NY to Phoenix, started with 92, then 98, then 103, & finally 109. My standard wear was a long sleeve white tee shirt from Walmart . I was glad to see these vests. I’ll be wearing it tomorrow. Do you think it needs to be under the mesh jacket? Thanks a lot.

I LOVE this mesh jacket, I have used it all season by zipping on the outer layer and wearing a decent winter jacket underneath. In the summer it works really well with the air flowing through it. The cooling vest I have is over a year old now and still going strong. It makes riding in temps over 100 WAY more enjoyable. Anything over 110 though and I start to feel like my skull is a crock pot for my brain. Definitely wear the cooling vest under your jacket. Works awesome!!

I have the Bilt version and it works very well price was $49.99 so didnt really save much and would of bought Harley but my local dealer didnt have any. I live in Florida and its humid here it definitely helps but I believe they do better in dryer weather?

I would imagine it is better in dryer climates. On a hot 95 degree day in humid Florida it might feel like a bath at red lights, I don’t have any experience with that tho so you would be better suited to attest to that.
