Absolutely love the box illustration, where the horse wishes the cowboy has the same good sense to keep running instead of facing off the grizzly with a granddaddy barlow.😆😂😆🤣

The rifle the hunter has is a Remington model 8, semi auto designed by John Browning.

If you’re a knife guy, Bearcat Barlow Club has been fun so far and full of really nice guys. I’ve been a member for something like a week and I’ve spent hours laughing at posts and drooling over photos.

Looks like a very nice Remington remake, I believe there lots of Remington collectors that will buy them up quick.

Just got mine in the mail about an hour ago. As much as I want to carry mine, I should treat it like a safe queen like most of my other Remington knives... just seems unfair almost that the only GEC knives I have lucked out on have been the two Remingtons. The prospector and now silver bullet cowboy are two of my most beautiful knives.

Yes sir fantastic video…… isn’t it a fantastic piece if you like the box you can go online and type in picture tins the are made to look vintage they have a lot of different Remington signs super cool I am picking one up for my knife room!!!! Stay well 😊

I believe the Remington bullet shield is a .30-03 cartridge. Sort of an interesting and weird cartridge to use, especially since its successor, the .30-06, was in service at that time. I dig it, I think the round nose bullet really feels cowboyish. Just adds to the cool factor to me.

1) That's a grizzly bear NOT a brown bear! 2) The rifle is a Winchester model 95 in either 30/40 Krag or 30/06

Not a lever action model 95 WINCHESTER .Semi-auto Model 8 REMINGTON, as in REMINGTON Bullet Knife.

I agree with you, not sure this one is going to go down in value like some claim. There were only 500 ish of these, so the guys thinking this would be like the 73 with over 2,000 made are mistaken. Regardless, really nice knife. Classic covers, good pull, good fit and finish. Glad I picked up a couple so I can put one in the safe and one in the pocket. Really want to carry one.

I love the look, but it is just so big. I wouldn't carry it thus it would have just been a safe queen for me. I passed on it but really do think it was well done. Thanks for the review Logan.

@@KnifeThoughts I think the silver bullet shield is cool but would scratch easy being a soft metal. But like you said, you will not be carrying it much anyways.

No quality knife should have blade rap. They can make the spring hump smaller, or do what Rough Ryder Reserve does and put a stop pin in there... To not do that, and just expect the owner to keep grinding away enough metal from the edge until it stops hitting, is BS as far as I am concerned.
