s35vn is no where near the best material on the market. Is it good? Yes it's a great steel if heat treated properly. But s45vn magnacut. Vanax. S90v. All steels that outperform s35vn. So don't lie please

Yeah if you want over priced Benchmade products the 940 is great... They are also great if you want half ass heat treats and thick geometry on the 940.... Or get you a manix 2 or pm2 and have the best heat treated production steels you can get at fair prices and made here in the USA.... Oh yeah plus superb geometry and amazing blade shapes, saying BM even competes with Spyderco tells me you have no idea what you are talking about about.

$175 for Titanium and S35VN, and probably made by some no-name Chinese OEM (At least I couldn't find a named OEM on the website for this model). You can get Titanium and 20CV or even Magnacut Dekas at that price point. James Brand moment.

The price is a bit steep for a knife with S35VN and titanium scales that's manufactured in China. Crucibles S35VN steel is however made in the USA. I'm curious as to how the heat treat is on the steel and if it's running on phosphorus bronze washers or bearings/ multirow bearings. It is nice to see the relief cut for the frame lock on the inside though. And a milled titanium pocket clip is good as always. Seems like a solid knife but again, there are other more budget friendly options with similar materials

In all honesty it all depends on the company’s steel tempering/hardening of the steel, a good craftsman can make 1065 perform like 1095,a bad craftsman can make 1095 fragile and brittle like glass.

Yes I realize that about the pocket clip but they have even gotten so cheap on that those wire clips are cheap and move around a lot and bend easy. You want to invest your money in the brand that is your deal but there marketing tactics just make money off people for cheaply assembled knives. You said that the Endura is a good choice but the same knife is available in the Byrd brand yes 8cr13mov a finger choil added. I can't see paying nearly a 100$ for the same knifeI can't even get g10 scales unless it's a sprint run or limited run and then the price goes through the nose. I can't see this because also the cara cara 2 has a steel back spacer that goes all the way through this way the spring board is between two pieces of metal and not plastic and metal ridiculous for the price you should get more features for more money. I've worked in a wharehouse for 25 years and had Spyderco knives fail time and time again also outside work as well it sucks when 25 to 40$ knives perform and hold together better than higher dollar one's. With that said I don't think that all crkt knives are wonderful but I'll put the majority of my cold steel's up against Spyderco any day of the week.

Apparently the good old 90s are long since gone. I would put my first ever 45 dollar Spyderco against anything. Times have changed. Most knifes seem way over priced. I saw some hat knifes for 250-350 in a vegas cowboy shop.

It’s the size, hand feel, build quality and blade shape that differ. I will say, there has been a lot of knives that hit the market after the Allman that have similar benefits, but in the end this was the founding father of these design esthetics.

Wesn is overpriced budget knifes with a strong social media campaign to sell such garbage at a premium. Titanium isn’t as expensive as you think. I make knife scales.
