@wilson fisch “free” nothing that require the goods and services of others is “free”, you pay for it through taxes. I don’t disagree that it’s better that way but stop calling it free, that’s dishonest at best, flat out lying at worst. It’s extremely expensive, it’s just paid for differently.
@powerfuel2973 жыл бұрын
@wilson fisch In France you got all the taxes + the "social charges" to finance the social security which is cost a huge part of your income or your profits and even though its still in debt! I think that a better system would be to let the choice to people to finance either a public assurance or a private one or none of them if they want to take the risk when there are young and healthy.
@getsomemtb74273 жыл бұрын
@wilson fisch, what country do you live in? UK someplace? US is 37% combined Federal and state income tax. What's yours...45%? Though I would rather pay a little more so we all had equal health care, it won't happen for a long time here.

I know you’re at the forefront of pushing the limits of mtb and advancing the sport in every way, I also know you accept the risks and could die tripping over your shoelace. However does the sport need to go to extremes in this way? I’m sure it could be pushed in other ways or at least made safer if it has to go to these gnarly do or die locations. Is it worth loosing a hero to millions and a member of a family for the next big edit. Rampage is also crazy. Just a death waiting to happen. If we can control the risks in other extreme sports / motorsport then surely we can do the same in mtb without taking away from the achievements of the rider / teams involved. I’m not trying to dull mtb down I promise I just think there needs to be as much investment in body armour that works without being intrusive etc as there is in marketing the products involved in the edit. Stay strong dude and hope you make a swift and full recovery.
