Not all friends are real friends and i learned this the hard way. i had a child hood best friend that when i was in trouble he didn't help in a number of occasions. The last straw was when i was 3 hours away from my home and i dropped my keys in a lake i was in. I called him and he was home, I asked him for help bring my spare keys as i had no way to get back home and i was stuck in a isolated area with no transportation. He said he was busy and couldn't help. I was able to get my family member to bring my keys to me and when i got back home i asked my friend mom what did he do today, she just said he was on the couch on his phone the whole time.

i assume his house is pretty close to ur house, that mean it will take him about 3 hours to get the key to you bcs you said you were 3 hours from home, and it would take him another 3 hours to get back to his home meaning it would cost him 6 hours to help you, it was also your fault for losing your key, idk why u were mad about it

Honestly it's kinda our fault. I'm about to graduate from med school with zero real friends. I didn't want this to happen but I never really try to make a true authentic connection. Of course, they could have tried to connect with me but it's my life so I should have took it seriously. All I did was party with people and never ask them to lunch or text them about their day. Co workers aren't friends either once I invited them to a boat party paid 1500 for it and only four people showed up the others worked my birthday and rather party with their friends than me. Second time I did this and only two friends show and family members and one of them called me naive all Because he had a family problem and I didn't understand it but he had more family members to help but they don't want to.
