You should be able to scale in your image application to the correct size.

Thanks for sharing this! Did you get a sense of how good the scan quality is with colour vibrancy? I'm wondering whether the copy you made in the video is muted because of the scan quality as well as the paper as you said. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Scanning is very good, almost up there with a dedicated photo scanner.

Hello ,, which printer do you recommended Brother MFC j895dw or Epson xp8500 ? I need a new home printer I like printing photos but in normal costs , and I really don't know how to choose one . kind regards

I would choose the Epson if glossy photos are the main use, otherwise the Brother for business documents and cheaper running costs.

Hi! I am planning to buy my first printer for photos. I am an amateur photographer and I'd like to print quality photos at an affordable price. I was interested in this printer and in the XP-15000. My only doubt now is about the clogging of the printhead. I wouldn't be printing on a daily basis and I'm afraid this would lead to some problems. What's your opinion in regards? I think that as long as you print once per week it should be fine. Also cartridge based systems are not that economical, consider one with bulk inks, perhaps this kzbin.info/www/bejne/opfLpo2rqtCgpq8

Do you think the print quality of the ET-7750 is as good as the XP-8500 or 15000? I've seen it uses only 4 inks. I know it's a lot cheaper to run, but it costs about twice the xp-15000, thus I's like to know whether the quality is similar. Thanks again!

The ET-7750 uses five inks, CMYK and Photo Black and it produces really nice photos. Not quite as good tonally as the XP-8500 but very close.

Do you know if these printers can print on matte paper? The specs don't specify this and on the epson's matte paper compatibility list there are only surecolor and stylus photo printers. I'm referring to "Archival matte paper".

What would be a good printer for someone who wants to print for advertising purposes in rather small quantities... say 500 - 1000 pages ... with a good quality on different kinds of paper (also kraft paper) Thanks in advance for your advice...

That's a hard task. For those quantities I would possibly go with a laser printer, but that would not handle kraft paper. So perhaps look at an Epson EcoTank printer which is quite economical to run.

No, I had a Stylus R220 which could this one can't cope with it, I know I've tried, the main fault with this printer is it's wrap over system, the photo paper jams, I consider my one of these is rubbish, while the pictures are really good, the printer has problems if a sheet of paper jams. in the six months that I've had the printer I had a second paper jam a few days ago, it resulted in the printer clicking, when I removed the back to gain access there was no sign of the paper so I lifted the scanner and and ink replacement cover where the paper had jammed, I gently removed it and reset the printer, all it did was click and keep spewing out the paper. it's the worst epson printer that I've ever had, the guy just mentioned that it takes up to 170 gram photo paper.

to be totally honest, i'd liked to see dsome gray ink cartridge in there rather than light magenta and such, other than that if the wifi setup is as good as previous models than it'll be smooth to operate...but that 199 € pricemark is tough to swallow when canon ts8050 is 140€ and in my experience produces as good if not better results than my xp-55

Just bought a brand new 8500 it was an emergency purchase and because of a combination of price and need's at the time, it has the disc printing option which is essential for me so was a major need. I prefer Epson for their quality printing and have always used them and this prints gorgeous photo's but straight out the box and set up it wouldn't print a 5X7 piece of paper, I've had to resort to printing a multi-print on A4 and trimming it down manually. Getting back to the ink use, I have a lot of skin tones to print and I find it's using almost but not quite, twice as much LC & LM to the other ink's that said my pics are very good quality so I'm happy.

One has to be a pretty advanced photographer to be able to make and edit photos good enough for a wall :) Photo albums tolerate anything, just anything. Walls are quite finicky. :)
