But like who cares? Isn't a movie ticket cheaper than a blu-ray disk? It's not a money grab. There are people who might want to see it in imax. There are people who will wait until blu-ray. You haven't mentioned it being a money grab but this "solution" is what I Hear every time someone says that. But it's not a solution. Blu-ray's are more expensive than movie tickets. And I would estimate that physical copies of movies are being bought less and less so a theatrical release is totally reasonable.

There is one photo where a bird is covering Peter’s face. I feel like going forward it will be one of those things where Peter was there the whole time, just no one cared about him so they didn’t care to remember him in any of the scenarios. It gives MJ still having the necklace a whole new meaning, because she’s going to remember getting the necklace, but not who gave it to her

I still think Sony is going to try their hand at "The King in Black" and there have been small rumors that Marvel will be helping them flesh the story aspect out. However, if I'm being honest, Sony is still struggling with "The Sinister 6" so I'd feel better if Marvel was doing "The King in Black " instead 😬

Saw the re-release. Some of those scenes were in the blu-ray release, but did notice Andrew’s sulking was enhanced in the R-R. The Happy interrogation scene was cool to add for daredevil.

I can't watch a whole film over for the equivalent if DVD extras so this drop is SUPER appreciated. I'd check them out for heavy action. I would definitely go if they did fan service like xhave Peter walk into a room closing a door, with his back turned, thank the room for all of their support during a media sh*tstorm & turn to field a few questions from top KZbin page commentators. Honestly I was probably the guy who didn’t want them together lol. I mean on a certain level I did because it pretty much impossible to not want that. But I was really not looking forward to the idea because at the time I was having multiverse fatigue( even more so now) I was just tired of all the tropes and loop holes, and lack of stakes. I was more interested in what the plot of no ways home would have been if Toby and Andrew didn’t come back. I feel like that would have been a way better Movie than what we ended up with. I’m still glad it happened tho

I haven't seen the re-release because this is so obviously a cash-grab (and probably a reaction to Morbius bombing twice). I looked at the seating charts for two theaters near me, the only showings that have sold a lot of tickets are those on National Cinema Day tomorrow because tickets are $3. So I'm curious to see how good/bad this move was by Sony.

Even if they still do, Nick Fury and SWORD probably wouldn't need the services of Spider-Man anymore, especially since they have more important things to deal with (Secret Invasion, Kree-Skrull War), and have other assets. Nick Fury was only requested (by Tony Stark) to give the glasses to Peter, not to recruit him for future missions. Plus, if Nick Fury and SHIELD were able to keep their distance from Bruce Banner so he wouldn't get caught by the U.S. Army, I can't see why Nick Fury and SWORD wouldn't do the same thing for Peter. Thor does knows that Spider-Man is a teenager (because of Tony's funeral), but probably doesn't know his name, and wouldn't care to know since he barely knew him anyways and never formally interacted with him. Guardians of the Galaxy are probably never coming back to the earth, and all of members of the team are most likely to go on their own adventures or will be killed off (after GOTG 3). Captain Marvel still knows that Peter is Spider-Man, but doesn't know him that well nor knows where he lives and is highly unlikely for her to ask for Spider-Man's help over the help of more powerful assets like Sam Wilson, Hulk, She-Hulk, War Machine, Wong, Shang-Chi, or her other two counterparts.

Nah I think only Wong and Dr Strange would know it happened, but no-one else would be aware. She Hulk seems to be in this weird meta space where she just seems to go with the flow and acknowledges that she is in an MCU show with cameos, so I don't think we can take her word as canon 😂
