iPad os 真的是唯一限制所有m系列能發揮的功用,就算m1好了,到現在iPad os 也沒有多少程式能利用完全(玩遊戲除外)

N2後面還有A16 , A16後面還有A14..... 再後面還有CFET 的A10 1nm世代 ......何來到頭? M3/M4只是剛好距離太近,用了相似小調整的製程, M4選擇是優先拉高良率,不能代表半導體製程到極限, 後面還有好幾個新製程在排隊等上馬

SoC 與晶圓製程,會持續發展,何來盡頭之說? 換新架構是進化,而非舊架構的盡頭。 除非那天人類退回 19世紀,完全不用 IC, 不然 SoC 是看不到盡頭。

@@旁觀-o7d 你知道1nm約等於10a嗎? 原子有最小不可分割性 所以的確製程已經到盡頭了 除非3D堆疊 但那也只是架構優化 不然也只能期待還在實驗室裡量子電腦

我只看好高通的x-elite, AMD和Intel都要靠边站,一天不换架构就没有优势可言,换Arm或risc V可能才有看头,intel唯一可以指望可能是他们晶片代工做得起来,CPU根本不看好

在別篇說平板界沒有一個可以打贏iPad的被網友反駁,結果我說我現在用的就是M1多公雙開遊戲加直播,反而被質疑為何不用桌機😂 三開APP已經是iPad pro M1的極限了,因為功耗被鎖在40瓦或是性能極限就在那。

其實會不會今天的M4 是蘋果開始立項時的"M3"呢?就因為台積電N3E 推遲了所以減些架構上N3B而推出了現在的M3?

標題改為 FinFET 架構快到頭了就沒毛病 台積電 3 奈米一口氣還規劃了 5 個版本 務必壓榨出 FinFET 的最後一絲價值 可說台積電彷彿是個錙銖必較的土豪 至於 N3E 的好處 主要是成本比 N3B 低 表現還稍好一點 至於總的來講到不到頭 依目前技術能見度 IMEC roadmap 已規劃到 2036 年 0.2 奈米等效製程 主要是架構和材料依舊持續在突破 但多說無益 就看未來實際進展的表現如何了

这么专业详细的分析也KZbin仅此一家了,还贴心地给英文字幕。 字幕这块建议以后把这个上下文的“满血”翻译成 unbinned, “残血”翻译成 binned. Binning是生产时关闭CPU核的过程。

The optimization for apple chips must be crazy good to get such good efficiency even in gpu heavy games like star rail, if both 3dmark and gfxbench show them being worse than mtk and sd.

3nm相信會是半導體架構的極限了,雖然2nm是可以生產出來,但良率應該會極低,而換來的性能提升應該會非常之有限。 現在最重要的是在3nm製程成熟的情況之下儘量以不同的架構去搾取最大的效能,這點上蘋果在沒有太多包袱的情況之下是最有可能做得到的公司。不過若果要這樣做的話蘋果可能需要將mobile跟desktop cpu的架構脫鈎,以免被對方拖後腿,影響性能表現。

N3E 的出現不就是原來的N3B 良率太低成本太高大家都用不起 所以放寬一些標準讓成本降低、良率提高 以便於提高出貨量 有了大量的出貨量才能快速提高良率 本來就會比原來的N3B差才對 沒看到年底一堆用N3E的晶片要上市了 能讓大家用的起才是N3E本來的目的

早該如此,我的7600X現在天氣熱開機沒多久,整個反應時間就拉長,機子太熱性能根本無法發揮,反而增加了延遲反應時間。晶片是很怕熱的,一熱性能就狂掉,不然就要花幾萬買個高檔水冷系統。

The power efficiency of Apple is actually insane! Their chips deliver higher performance witn higher power consumption but only when needed. For the majority of time, they just consumer similar or less power for higher performance. That's insane there!

I'm quite surprised to see them push clock frequencies so high, especially given the regression in efficiency. On one hand, it's a bit cool to see such a wide core running so fast, but I never thought Apple would prioritize performance over battery life. Baffling.

確實台積電在先進封裝與製程有些瓶頸,但輝達有解決方案,未來芯片能效突破會更快,而且生產成本更低。

20:40省流精选:3nm/三纳米的N3E工艺比N3B没有进步多少(顶多3-5%几乎可以乎略不计),再次 N3B也没有比N4P进步多少。结论conclusion: N3E工艺和N4P差不多,几乎没有明显的进步。

I know that for RE4 and Death stranding you can configure the settings files to change some game settings (resolution, upscaling, texture quality). While developers should update the app, perhaps it would’ve been interesting to see how much you could push it. because at default, even for M2 the visuals look very blurry.

@@fernvenue thanks I wasn't sure of the reason through the CC translations. Eitherway, that's odd because on my iPad Pro M2 it does change, but I presume the device profile is game specific so if there's a mismatch it defaults to the highest platform profile.

A17是為了2022年量產的N3設計,但後來N3趕不上A16才變成N4P,N3的design早在2022年底就準備好了,一年半後換成N3E的迭代速度還算正常。 不要拿發表日期當作晶片設計完成的時間。

A16我記得不是N4嗎?22年好像只有聯發科的天璣9200用了N4P,而蘋果的A16和高通的驍龍8Gen2都只用了N4。

@@Unraku-ci2qdN3原本預定在2022H2 MP,但這從來沒發生,第一個MP的3nm節點是N3B,design house 通常都會有設計備案,所以2022年才以N4P代打,我個人認為蘋果本來是打算跳過N4製程的,像是N7P以後,蘋果也從未採用過N6的節點,而是直接進入N5。 根據semiwiki的資料 reurl.cc/r903Rr N4系列在2022年只有N4P MP,N4X沒有提到,但肯定不會在2022年MP。 N3則是明確提到會在2022H2 MP,可惜後來發現問題,導致N3失敗而改以N3B替代。 N3E則是預定2023H2 MP,可以得知M4在2023年末/2024年初就已經準備好了。

說盡頭也是沒錯 但不精確 精確地來說 是進步不會到頭的 但進步的幅度會越來越小 畢竟3nm 2nm 都已非常接近矽晶圓物理極限了

台積已經發布1.4奈米的開發製成計畫了,四奈米也將進入便宜可以量產的階段⋯⋯ 所以到頭了?估計暫時還沒有看到盡頭 至少1奈米的可能性是有了

都有。3P+6E的是低容量款,砍大核的M4;4P+6E的是大容量款,满血M4

对我来说现在的iPad就是空有一身性能 只要还是用着iPad OS 就算是iPad Pro也做不了多少Pro的东西 除了绘画和基本剪片调色 还能做什么呢 那么强大的性能留一点给码农不行吗

期待M4 Max在mac studio的散热下面满频跑起来的效果,不过看这样子M4也算是把潜力挖完全了,不改架构就没法进步了

就现在几个芯片大厂用3nm技术做的芯片,可以猜测3NM的台积电技术有缺陷,主要体现在发热上。是不是材料学极限不好说,但是可能是光刻机限制。毕竟做3NM还是靠的黑科技,并 不是光刻机精度提升。

一直都是 所以Macbook Pro如果換上OLED續航應該也會大幅提升 miniLED在螢幕上出現SDR和HDR切換時還時常會造成CPU瞬間滿載 估計是要切換miniLED的背光模式 這就蠻耗電的

坦白说,虽然说 iPad Pro 性能足以完成比较复杂的视频剪辑工作,但我个人认为,大部分人可能还是喜欢用 MacBook Pro 来剪辑吧?起码我是,所以我还是比较期待 M4 Max 芯片的发布,赶紧的,只有 M1 Max 的我已经在心动 M3 Max 了

似曾相识的东西1很久以前CPU从0.39到0.14微米工艺用了很长时间突破,很多年的策略是加核并行,现在3nm又一次进入瓶颈。台湾积电的同制程比别家功耗高,比如三星,而英特尔的制程跟台程电的量度就差了50%。2苹果的M处理之佘CPU加GPU的区别,有点像四十年前CIsc和RISC的区别。CISC不是不好,但是支持开发成本很高。Xcode今天提供了好多的多的SDK,能坚持多久,可以一个重组就万劫不赴,看看英文sei在过去两年的退化程度,不寒而栗。最后,不要猜我的年龄,上学的时候用了一年绕线做过一台8088,六键键盘加打印机输出,ISA总线。

iphone这两年的问题不是性能而是散热,还有信号。 ipad的主要问题是,除非你是美术相关,否则一旦你毕业了,只能是流媒体启动器。
