I've also eaten way, way too much sugar this week. I made the mistake of getting myself a big box of chocolate covered cherries (my vice and eventual downfall) as a Christmas present. Fortunately, I can only get the ones I like at Christmas and Valentine's Day, which minimizes the damage.

I actually just got one of those Artis brushes for Christmas and I agree it is really nice. I have typically been a beauty blender gal because I have found that a lot of brushes leave brushstroke marks through my foundation. But so far this is doing really well.

Looks great on you! I love this one too. I also have dry skin and I moisturize then apply the fenty soft silk pro filter hydrating primer. So it doesn't dry me out!

I'm glad this worked for you! I used it once and it separated like crazy after only a couple of hours. I don't know what happened. I did my usual routine that I do for the original Fenty Soft Matte, which I can wear for a full 12-hr shift and it won't budge. For some reason the Soft Lit separated like I was an oily teenager again.

This one doesn't have great staying power on me, 9 hours ish. Gorgeous but I've worn it a handful of ways now and can't get it to be "longwear" like they claim.

I love this foundation! I had to swatch in store because I bought online with descriptions and it was too dark. I have normal to slightly oily skin, so I have to lightly powder it. But it has such a lovely feel, finish, and coverage. It is also easy to apply!

Happy new year Shelley!! I have dry mature skin and got a sample of this and yes, it's beautiful. Never boght full size because i have a trillion foundations in my collection. However with my sephora xmas giftcards, I'm thinking of the Dior stick. I love the fenty stick which i think launched last year too. I look for longevity in my long hours in the salon. On that note..Loving your hair as it grows out a bit.!❤

I want to go to Sephora now and see what shade is my shade in this Fenty foundation, the shade finder tells me 185 is my shade but it doesn’t seem accurate to me, I’m one of the CYO 101 fans and that shade was so perfect on me. Hi Shelly, Happy New Year! And thanks for the video. I appreciate that you report on the fragrance in foundations you test. As you noted, there's no added fragrance in this product (Wow! A Fenty product without fragrance!) And according to my research, none of the ingredients are fragrant. When I see ingredients listed with a botanical name, I automatically suspect they may be fragrant, but, it appears none of these are. I'll add that I'm not a dermatologist or cosmetic chemist, just a layperson with sensitive skin. So, my research may not be 100% correct. I also think this is a very reasonable price ($40) for a 1 oz. foundation, as prices are going for midpriced brands these days. Right now, I'm using the Revlon Illuminance foundation, but I intend to keep this one in mind for my very dry, sensitive, mature skin.

This is a reformulation, that's why they've got double the shades on your Sephora. They're still selling the old which was in a plastic tube. I bought this foundation during BF, even though I don't like Fenty, fragranced complexion (vanilla/cake is their usual) and I don't have anything close to a shade match = 2-3 shades needed (on purpose. Go look at the shade jump between 110 and 120 after oxidisation) and their matte one oxidises badly despite them saying it doesn't it's just "drying down" (um no). Not tried it yet 'cos I might just sell.
