I love that she mentioned clinisoothe. It’s been the only thing that’s cleared hormonal spots for me. That and la Roche posay effeclar!

I wish genetics was mentioned. As well as lifestyle. Incredibly underrated the two. I believe Jlo and common folks who prioritize lifestyle age way less harshly. No doubt she does tweaks but she’s also doing the big rock lifestyle things too. Exercise with weights tightens skin. It fills out the skin with lean muscle. Cardio brings blood flow to the skin. Lots of water too is amazing for the dermis. A diet rich in vitamin C is going to be king.

Yes, excellent points. I notice everyone who I think looks great at 55 plus, never had fillers and enjoys working out regularly. You're so right about cardio and blood flow and weight training keeping lean muscle.

Yes. Don’t stretch your skin with filler- it will stretch it. I don’t have filler but had severe pre eclampsia in my last pregnancy and swelled up 40+ lbs in a couple weeks from water retention due to pre eclampsia . My skin has never been quite the same.

13:15 - I bet she's talking about Dr Barbara Sturm. The overpriced hyaluronic acid skincare reference makes it sound like it.

I think she meant the Australian brand Go To does 2.5% retinal? I just checked because I didn't realise it was such a high strength one.

You need a prescription from a dermatologist for tretinoin and hydroquinone. It cleared mine up in less than 2 weeks and if it’s a 6 week treatment. I’ve never seen anything like it!! And I’ve tried everything!

Why not just embrace your age? Take good care of your skin and just embrace your age. I’m 78 and take excellent care of my skin and have never had any invasive procedures. I could easily pass for a 60.

I’m so happy to hear your experience. I think we should all be happy for each other and how we choose to embrace aging whether that’s natural or with some help.

Could you do a brand review please? You used to do that before and I loved it very much because it was telling me what works what doesn't and if it worth it or not. Especially the drugstore brands. That would be so cool 😊 thanks

Who is this lady, that is constantly interrupting Susan? It’s annoying.
@logiclanguagelearningFrench4 сағат бұрын
Nadine is the number one voice in her industry in the UK. Yes she gets excited with enthusiasm but is that the worst thing? Incidentally, she does nothing but champion Susan and her brand in her own content. Nadine also has a very popular ‘chat’ format with beauty marketing guru JoJones where let’s say they ‘layer’ voices. I take your point, but when you know her this is just Nadine being aware this is for a certain market and is trying to fill with info.

The amount of times she interrupted you & talked over you was so annoying. I thought it was supposed to be a conversation between two people. 😕 🤔
@mashavliegen44362 күн бұрын
I think Susan enjoyed that conversation even if for your opinion she was interrupted by her guest so no worries for her here
@voicedbird2 күн бұрын
The constant interrupting did make this hard to listen to, Susan could barely get a word in at times. 😖

I think it's a cultural thing tbh I'm Arab and in our culture it's quite normal to talk like this. It's this way in many European countries too. It's not quite interrupting but stacking on a conversation tbh it's very similar to how ADHD people talk sometimes haha

No no. I loved chatting with Nadine! I was purposely trying not to talk so we could hear from her. She’s awesome!
@Sosiemac6 сағат бұрын
Yeah, I love Nadine but she’s always bad at this, even when she’s the one interviewing - always interjecting. She’s super knowledgeable though so I’m grateful to always hear her advice.
