Years ago I didn't put prices because I feared they'd be inaccurate after some time, but I decided that most people watch videos around the time they're launched, so very few people would run into that problem - and the helpfulness outweighed the potential for error. :) Happy new year!!

I love the belief line. I am using their cleansing bomb right now. I use the sleeping mask on weekends and when we travel. I will have to try the good molecules one. I love their toner. I am looking at the foreo mask device. I have heard good things about it. A good list with many products added to my try list. Lol. I have to place things strategically or Riddick will knock things off too. I bet Polly was cute when she did it though.

Hi Shelley some great favourites this year. A few that are also my favourites too. I'm fairly sure I've told you some of my faves this year already, so I'll skip that this time around. I do want to highlight that the LRP Lipikar balm has been my night time moisturiser for most of the year - yes it's a bit greasy, but my super dry, dehydrated, rosacea and eczema prone skin just loves it. It really holds everything else in, but it is lighter than straight up petrolatum would be. It also contains niacinamide which is more unusual in a primarily body product. A new favourite this month is the laneige milk to oil cleanser. This feels just as hydrating as the LRP toleraine hydrating cleanser (which I've used nearly all year) and the cereve hydrating cleanser (also a dependable product for me). I already love the cream skin refiner in the same line (especially for Winter), but the cleanser is a new win. Since you like the other two as much as I do, then this might be a great rec for you. Another real win this month is the products I ordered from geek and gorgeous. The toner is nice/soothing, the Apad is a great texture for an azelaic acid and the star of the show is the A game 0.05% retinaldehyde. I use tretinoin on my face, but my neck wasn't a fan and I had been using retinol there. I've been using the A game (which is such a good price for retinaldehyde) and that is kicking my neck game up a big notch. They have stronger version I may graduate to in time, but I deliberately started with the lesser strength. I only tried the three things, but I will try their other products in 2021. I look forward to the rest of the favourites series this month and best wishes.

I need to try the Science Serum tight stuff. I recently began using Avene. I have the Retrinal eye, Retrinal 0.1 and Tolerance cream. I love it. I’ve been using it at night for a week, and I swear my skin looks better.

right before thanksgiving I was (and still am) trying to fix my skin barrier, I came across your 7 skin method video and the way you described your experience patting in toner until it no longer absorbed really made sense and inspired me to buy a bunch of toners (I went with kbeauty) I’m really excited to get them and start applying them to my extremely dehydrated skin! Although I did already know about the 7 skin method it was your video that inspired me to actually try it so thank you!!

Recommendations for crepe under eye (I'm 48)? Serum? Cream? I've tried Kate Sommerville and Dermaset but they both made my eyelids peel 😳

Generally I'm finding that the fine lines and crepey texture around my eyes are helped more by hydration than any sort of anti-wrinkle actives. Right now I'm using a ceramide eye serum (it's from the beauty subscription service Beauty Pie but any serum or moisturizer that is mostly ceramides like CeraVe would be similar) and CeraVe moisturizer around my eyes. Plumping up the area with moisture diminishes the look of both fine lines and texture/crepey skin on me. That's been my go-to lately!

Do you like the No.7 line product more than the PTR No More Needles line serum?

I do, only because of the texture, not the performance. I have both and did a comparison with one on my smile lines and one on my forehead lines (both being dynamic movement lines) and they both did great. The PTR seems a little thicker to me and doesn't layer quite as easily as the No7 - though we're really splitting hairs at this point 😂 They both perform wonderfully for me.

Just curious if you have tried the Drmtlgy products -- specifically the CE Ferulic Serum and the Needle-less serum. People rave about that brand and I am leaning toward their serum over TImeless even though it's twice as expensive. Have you tried that one? Would love to know....thx ... good vid as usual

Great list! I don't know if you'd be interested Shelly but, another KZbinr was reviewing some of the ordinary products. She said their pycnogenol 5% can revive vitamin c products that have expired/oxidized (prehaps only by a few months, not years of course) I wish I knew which video it was as I don't recall but her channel is Sincerely Miss Ash.

Have you considered pouring the Clarins serum into a different container with a lid? That way you can salvage more of the precious serum without losing any from leaking? 🙃 Just an idea.💡❤️

Hi Cat! I did it for 12 or 13 weeks at the start of the pandemic as extra videos but haven't done them since. Work has gotten crazy and I haven't had time to do a 4th video each week. :( but I may make a few with some of the newer palettes I've bought this year.

I must have received a bad batch of the Good Molecules Pineapple Enzyme scrub. I bought it in the hope that it would replace my beloved Tatcha exfoliating powder (which is my holy grail, but comes with the holy grail price tag). My Good Molecules exfoliator balls up into little balls and I cannot get it to spread. Sometimes it globs into a single larger blob and I cannot break it down. It breaks my heart because I love the Good Molecules line, but I would not purchase this again. Other than that, I am in general agreement on your list. Thanks as always for sharing!

Oh wow!! Mine acts kind of like a paste (that's not quite the right word, but maybe like damp super-soft sand? Also not quite the right word, but it doesn't ball up). Then I just massage it on my skin for a minute then rinse it off. I wonder if you're right about getting a dud :(

I know it's not technically skin care but I'm dying to tell you a perfect foundation combo I've discovered that you MUST try! I've been using a primer then mixing equal parts Missha Perfect Cover BB cream (#13) and CYO Lifeproof (#101). I have to very lightly set T zone but that's my tendency to be a smidge shiny. I'm telling you, it is soooooo pretty! People tell me all the time how nice and natural my skin looks. If you get a chance, give it a try!!! 😘

The line correcting serum is not a retinol serum (though they do make a nice retinol serum too!) - it's a peptide serum (Matrixyl 3000).

Hey Shelley, sorry about your cat knocking your really expensive stuff off. I think I would have been a little perturbed myself but then again I don't have $126 to spend on skincare. Btw, did you ever try Mercari? Not everything but I've been able to get some really great deals on there that I never would have been able to afford otherwise. I picked up the really expensive 111skin facemasks that are normally $120 for a box of 5 (I think...not positive anymore on the price) but I got the box with 4 of them for $15 shipped. @@goow I only remembered in the beginning because a creator that I watch has a Mercari store. So once I saw all of what was available and then starting searching for things that I wanted...I was surprised at what I could get on there and at the prices. There are still times that I don't get what I want because I can't or won't spend what someone wants to charge but when I find a good deal, I usually grab it. I've picked up some cerave, pixi and a few other skincare things that I wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. Good luck with your search.

I tried the Timeless Vit C serum because Angie from Hot & Flashy always raves about it, then I went to the Timeless website and the reviews were basically all 5-stars I thought "wow, I really need to try this"... well, I used it for about three, three and a half-ish months every single day, pretty much until the last drop, and to be honest I didn't see or feel any difference on my skin 🤷 I was hoping at least my sun spots would disappear, or fade a bit, but nope, they look exactly the same, overall, nothing extraordinary happened... I might be the only one who doesn't think that serum's the best thing after sliced bread 😆😒... does anyone feel the same about it? 🤔

I think I'm as far as I can go with Vitamin C lightening my spots, but what I notice more when I stop using it is how much it helps my texture. One side of my face is more textured than the other due to driving an hour+ each way to work daily with no sunscreen (the driving/window side of my face has more texture) and vitamin C seems to impact my texture more than any of the other products I use.
