3:29 Thanks for the review :) It seems like the blacks looks deeper on the macbook screen, what do you think about it ?

In that sample it looks like it. You can pick from a range of profiles on the BenQ display or fully customise the look of it. Its the most versatile monitors I've ever used. I think the Mac displays have the contrast at maximum almost. 1:11 is another good example of that - but you can also see how much better the BenQ is over the 13".

Is it a lefty? 🙂 Do you do much text editing to tell how good text looks, compared to text on a Mac?
@GeekyNerdyTechy4 ай бұрын
haha. I just do video and thumbnails mostly. This is a calibrated monitor for pro work, but I haven't used it for that type of thing sorry. :)

Every review I've seen on this monitor praises that puck it comes with. It makes me extremely skeptical that the reviews are legitimate. I see no use for a puck. I have an LG monitor right now that has a remote control that's used for the menus. It's a horrible design. It's much better to build the controls into the monitor, as clunky to operate as that is. They're hardly ever used, and you can't misplace them, and they take up no room on your desk. It makes me suspect they required reviewers to keep the puck in the review and talk about what it's used for.

It's way easier to control than reaching around the back of any panel. It's not that complicated to understand if you've used a bunch of monitors where their navigation sucks.

Your use case, existing 5k iMac upgrading to mac studio and looking for a monitor, is exactly the same as me. Thank you for the review!

I wound up with just the mac mini pro but I did get this specific monitor, omg it's so nice. The only thing I miss is that the keyboard keys for controlling brightness don't work anymore but that's a very minor problem and I figured they wouldn't work with a non-apple monitor anyway so not surprised. I also got an ergotron arm, and I already had a Benq lightbar which I carried over. Benq is really killing it, their products are great with thought-out feature sets.

It's not great, no, as the Mac Pros and the iPhone Pros are both 120hz (assuming that owners own both). Therefore, 60hz is not enough by any means.
@GeekyNerdyTechyАй бұрын
What sort of professional work are you doing that requires 120hz?
@coin7774 ай бұрын
Nice review, but 60hz is not really good for gaming
@GeekyNerdyTechy4 ай бұрын
If you need 120hz, then go for it but casual gamers like myself it’s a good upgrade over the lower refresh rates. 😊
