The realization that she was a bounty hunter during the Clone Wars and into the Galactic Civil War make more sense of her and Boba's history and relationship. Can't wait to see the two of them in "Book of Boba Fett." One last thing I really like about Fennec Shand is that she's played and still voiced by the incredible Ming-Na Wen. (aka, as I like to remember her as, "The Bus!")

Mercenaries usually complete the role of soldiers Kal Skirata is a good example of a mandalorian mercenary he never really hunted down individual targets he would instead participate in battles across the Galaxy before eventually training the clone commandos. Whereas a bounty hunter is more like a privatized space cop on the surface they might wear similar gear and have similar weapons but their role is entirely different

No doubt that the Guild is by far the most powerful organization in the Galaxy and no doubt they had a lot of clients who no doubt had more than enough credits to hunt down anyone in the Galaxy.

Although an influential organization I wouldn’t consider the bounty hunters guild the most powerful entity in the galaxy only because they were not allowed to independently decide neutrality during the Imperial period. Bounty hunters should be neutral and only work for the highest bidder but the Empire regulated that no guild members were to work for Rebels even if the pay being offered by the alliance was enticing which explained why Boba always refused to accept payments when Leia offered him countless times! Other organizations were so powerful that the Empire had no choice but to allow them to be neutral and could not punish them even if the Empire wanted to. These organizations included the InterGalactic Banking Clan which was the only CIS corporate entity to escape punishment from Palpatine because doing so would cripple the entire Galactic economy. Even after Palpatine’s death Muunulist remained a member of the Imperial Remnant but started backing the New Republic credits which angered the Imperial Remnant but there was nothing they could do about it and allowed Muunulist to continue doing business with the New Republic. Another entity would be the Bothan Spy Networks which were information brokers that both the Empire and Rebel Alliance used. Due to the nature of Bothan Information brokerage they were able to remain neutral and the Empire respected their independence instead of regulating them to exclude rebel clients!

Years ago my RPG D&D game shop ran a Star Wars Mandalorian campaign. Running gag, everyone my PC ran into though he was Boba Fett, " spoken & unspoken Mando law .. you never claim name or credit of another Mando or hunter. You risk death." So my PC and another group of hunter were at a planet that was in deep zhit. I tried to tell the mayor I was not Boba and the others would not work to defend them for the price they were paying. I remember from " Tales of the Bounty Hunters," Boba Fett always worked for double the value of a given bounty. So I snap to the mayor, " The Mando unit works for three times what you are offering and I get paid five times the given rate." Mando units commander, " You sure about this ?" My PC, " You give me the commanders to make it sound like I know what I am doing and I given my extra x4 profit to Fett with I'm So Sorry Letter." It was a hard fight but we kicked azz. Then the special day happen where my PC met Boba Fett and he just stared at my PC, I buckle and said I'm sorry I can explain and I will pay you extra to make it up to him. Boba Fett, " Stop telling people You Are Not Me, and I need to be in two places at the same time .. partner." My PC .. " .. Sorry , I'm a rockie and you are my Boss, you get 85% of profit." Boba, " No you get 40%." My PC, " Deal." ... OMG, Vader scared the zhit out of my PC. In Legends Boba Fett became Mandalor, so my gaming group worked on creating a back story where he was slowly spending thirty years in creating his own private army. Leia shot my PC around a dozen times and Force Choke can be used as an untrained force skill, The Princess did not like my jokes about her being a Wookie. In one game we caught Leia and deliver her to Vader, .. Other PC, " Here is the run away Wookie, you really need to do something about your daughter staying on her meds." Vader, " Anything you have to say .. Princess ?" Leia, " Give me a blaster rifle to beat these idiots with ! " Vader, " .. As .. you .. Wish."

Speaking of bounty hunters. Is it just me who doesn't like how canon has been handeling Aurra Sing? I mean as of now she is dead thanks to a background dialogue in the Mandalorian but I bloody well hope that isn't it. Fake us out for fuck sake and have her appear in a new season or something. Don't just throw her away like that. Now, she isn't the best character in canon Star Wars or anything but she is at least pre-established so do something with her. Maybe that is what Book of Boba Fett is gonna add and I bloody hope so. I hate it when companies just kills pre-established characters who we know have important history with other characters just to unceremoniously kill them in throw away dialogue. While Assaj Ventress got a rubbish conclusion at the very least that is a book and story while some like Aurra gets nothing. That irks me greatly and apperently more then I first relised. This was gonna be a short comment with the first question but spiraled into a rant XD.

Until the bounty hunter's guild in Star Wars, they had the same thing in DC comics. Lobo was a bounty hunter and he was high T and was a bounty hunter worthy of star wars and better than any bounty hunter in the Star Wars universe. Hail Lobo, all others who agreed with him. These rules of the bounty hunters are all SJW garbage. Kill or be killed, take em' in or don't. I respect Bounty Hunters having a personal code, just steer clear of those who win at all costs.
