I've only recently 'discovered' you, and last night I watched your 'Indigo/Violet Page' video whilst laying in bed. 🙃 Today, I'm here creating along with you because I was so inspired. And...... I have to say I'm super happy! Firstly, because I recently purchased a 5 x 7 inch gelli plate and have been 'experimenting' with new techniques ever since. Secondly, because many years ago I lived in Seoul, South Korea, and purchased a couple of beautiful calligraphy brushes, and then I added a few more whilst on holiday in Shanghai. I love these brushes (I feel like the traditional ones are little works of art in their own right) but I've only ever used a couple of them. So, now, thirdly (thanks to your inspiration) I've been 'playing' with all these component parts and creating. And creating is what it's all about. Nga mihi nui, Lilly. 🧡💚🤎

This is super cool. I like to draw script like marks with my posca pens (the felt nibs 3M or bigger) and then pull them with a top layer of paint. I’ve never tried mark marking with paint itself!

Ghost print is the paint trapped under the stencil, after the first print, it often makes a fabulous print. Sometimes it is just the paint left behind after the first print, creating a fabulous texture, Cheers!

I love the idea of mark making on the Gelliplate….very inspirational. I also love the “idea” of collage making but hit a brick wall when I try to actually create a collage due to the stickiness of applying papers. Do you have any tips or a video with tips on how to make the process less of a mess?
