I can't wrap my head around how anyone can be so American and yet so Italian at the same time.
@Harlem55Ай бұрын
Because Itailans for better or worse have influenced American culture since the late 19th and early 20th century. American cooking draws from Italian, French, and German as its three basic influences.

@@GiovannaBelliaLaMarca I have a question for you Giovanna! What school or college would be the best way for me to learn how to read and write in Italian. Apparently the laws are about to change in Italy and to become a dual citizen you have to pass their tests. You must learn to read write and speak in Italian. I am in the process of filing out the family chart to send back to the attorney in Italy (ICA) and also to the Archdiocese in New Orleans to search my family's genealogy. I will not be able to do much for the next couple years while I wait, I might as well learn how to speak the language if I plan to live there someday! Got any advice since you were once a professor/ teacher!?

Hello Giovanna, Just wondering if you've ever tried to use the pulp for anything? When I can tomatoes I save the skins & core, dehydrate then grind into a powder and use it like a spice, it's a tasty addition, my favorite way is to sprinkle it over ricotta toast. I was thinking maybe it could be done with the orange pulp. Thank you all for another lovely video💓
@GiovannaBelliaLaMarca5 ай бұрын
I try to get as much juice as possible extracted from the pulp; removing the pulp makes the “gelo” clear, but not removing the pulp would not make it less delicious!
