Crisp Alcohol Ink Prints on Gel Plate

I'm sure the artist that inspired you would enjoy a little recognition. As much as I appreciated being shown the technique by Betz through the GelPress KZbin channel, I couldn't really enjoy it since there was no meaningful attribution given to the original artist that inspired it. What a slap in the face considering how much Betz was gushing about how much she was inspired.

Jaye, when I was browsing my Instagram feed I was not on the hunt for a technique. I usually forget what I see and did not think this would stick in my mind. The problem was that technique resonated in the back of my brain and I went back through to find who it was days later when I could not forget about it. Perhaps I should not have mentioned that I learned it from someone else since I couldn’t remember who it was. My hope was that someone would see this and be able to recognize that technique and state who it was or I would be able to locate the artist again and post. I am still looking and it drives me nuts that I can’t find it.

I understand and agree. I have been racking my brain trying to remember who it was and can’t remember. I didn’t feel right taking credit for something I did not come up with and if I ever do figure out who I picked it up from I will post.

I recently seen a video, not sure by whom, who did this same technique.. I am in love with this technique, the designs are so much bolder. I just started doing this yesterday, I hope I get something incredible in the near future to put in a book journal. What type of glue do you use when you put your designs in a book?
