Does cdj 700 memorize hot cues? Imagine if you make an hot cue on a song. Then you shut the player off. When you turn on again, the hot cue made on the song will be there? like on cdj 2000?

thnx for the feedback.still do you recommend the cdmp7000.i don't care about the mixer or the stiff jogwheel but i am concerned about the build quality of the unit.i know that it cost 1/3 of the equivalent setup of cdj 850s and djm 350. however i want to know whether it is going to last.again thnx for the replies.

really. so do you think it is better to use with out sl product or without. the problem i have always had with midi controlers is they never sound like acual vynal scratching like with timcode.

I have a pair of these... Is it normal that when you let go of the cue button it takes a but for the music to stop? And is it also normal that it freezes occasionally and has a few weird glitches? Please help... I have 3 months to,bring them back yeah

Man this video really helped me out, I've been using denon 3500 for the longest time and the 700's felt way too stationary for me so I didn't want to go near them because I'm so used to scratching on a cdj that's actually moving I rarely use loops so I didn't wanna take the time to figure this out but its way easier than I thought so I'm definitely gonna get some usb's set up so I can start mixing at my homies house on the 700's he just got

If you have a audio box it should be able to scratch a lil better with response especially if you're using midi-cpu.. I Might use them with serato..

One thing Ive noticed with many players that aren't Pioneer is that often the BPM Hops around a lot and wont stay as nice and consistent as the Pioneer range. What's the BPM reader like on these units?

Can you put quantization on loops? You can look for a specific music file only based on the name of the mp3, or you can do it based on the name of the artist, title of the song, bpm, etc.?

Hey Kareem.. You say its tough to scratch with these but I'm coming from a kontrol s2. One of the main reasons I want CDJs is so I can have larger wheels so I can learn to scratch properly... should I look for a different unit?

I wish these had the ability to share memory devices over a hub. Both Denon and Pioneer have that, not to mention the ability now to find tracks using a laptop and offload them into the transport completely. Forget sync.

What u mean to say is the scratching is off, but u put it out there in a nice way. the problem with that is, u get it home, start mixing and immediatly get disappointed like i did when bought a cortex dmix300, another Gemini product (i shoulda known better) u get what u pay for. good quality doesn't come cheap. my opinion save ur money invest better. i have a graveyard of sub standard equipment to prove my point.

i appreciate the response, too difficult to find a decent mid-range deck. pioneer really does maintain monopoly over the cdj spectrum, i just can't afford to break the bank.

great review man, sadly i will return the one i got ...it skips the music randomly no matter if its mp3 , .wav form usb , cd etc..... i got it to play cds and nonstop cds will skip on the track division,,, emailed 3 times support , nothing, left message for them on facebook page , nothing....updated to vers 4.4 nothing.....i own pioneer gear , i just wanted to try something different...didn't went well.. again , i enjoy your reviews , maybe this message travels farther than my previous ones.... tc .

So is a Versadeck, though, and it can share the devices. I don't think these features are the reason Denon and Pioneers cost so much more. CDJ 1000 never had them and still cost a lot more, too.

Hi Kareem, if you have struggled with sctach does this mean that there is a cue slip?how good is vinyl mode in terms of sound , distortions?very digital when doing back spin?i have denons 3700 and they are close as real 1210

The sound is OK, but the jog wheels are just really stiff compared to other offerings or actual turntables. There isn't any distortion... The 3700's have a better feel in my opinion...

The problem i have is that denon did not invent recently anything exciting and jump from denon to pioneer( hard cue and play buttons, bigger screen with waveform) will cost a small fortune.Even cdj900 nexus is almos as expensive as 2000.There is big difference in US market and European market.

wowerman I like the Denon SC3900 very much and the vinyl feel is great. I had the 3700's for years and I liked them too, but now I'm back to my vinyl roots...
