Pittsburgh International Airport, formerly Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, is a civil-military international airport in Findlay Township and Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Located about 10 miles west of downtown Pittsburgh, it is the primary international airport serving the Greater Pittsburgh Region as well as adjacent areas in West Virginia and Ohio. The airport is owned and operated by the Allegheny County Airport Authority and offers passenger flights to destinations throughout North America and Europe. Last year, I was 3 flights short of keeping my elite status with Air Canada - so I flew from Thunder Bay to Pittsburgh via Toronto and Montreal on New Year's Eve just to keep it! That time it was a CRJ-200, but I'm sure that a 900 has done it at least once!

From the Burgh congrats on catching the QTR8140 Trip 7 as a model. They've now changed to a new route QTR8142. Saw 8140 many times and recorded them. That's one big ass plane. Either that or they approach lower than the Md-11. My parents where I grew up live EXACTLY 12 NM (crows flight) from and on runway compass heading of 280 deg. . So every aircraft lines up over their neighborhood. Love plane spotting when I can visit. The only thing missing from the KPIT report is the Cessna 208 horde. Early morning starting around 05:00 and evening around 20:00 Cessna 208's from satellite airports flock to KPIT. Flightaware is a good source. Good job!

Please do a permanent Canadian airport I’d recommend you do Calgary bc you have all the planes American carriers use and the Ba 787 frontier neo you would just have to get more air Canada and west jets but hey it gives you a excuse to get the westjet 787
