I think it's safe to say that Golbat's Gen I sprite is the most iconic. It so iconic in fact that in both Pokemon Stadium games, whenever Golbat opens up it's mouth, it's tongue is sticking out as well. Golbat even has a Summoning Animation that greatly resembles that Gen I sprite.

I’ll always love cloyster’s Gen 1 sprite the most. It looks like a “got bigger” version of shellder but looks better. Not crazy fond of cloyster’s current look but definitely makes it defrenciate from shellder more.
