This music video's look is influenced by the 70s. This song was released in the fall of 90. The sound is considered house music. The lead singer is Lady Miss Kier from Ohio, the Asian guy is DJ Towa Tei and the dancing guy is DJ Dmitry from Russia. They were formed in NYC. I wouldn't call that twerking. Twerking is when you keep your feet in one place with your torso bent forward and thrust your hips. Here in the music video he was upright and he was moving his legs and feet.
