A 2016 HoC report stated that 76% of all EU immigration was low skilled and low wage who barely pay any tax relative to the cost of their presence. You should check out the ONS cost per person per year pro rata . Then check how much they pay in tax and NI. And the U.K. government post Brexit thought it sensible to give 7 million EU citizens leave to remain. On top of that non EU immigration that continues. I don't believe that Putin has any interest in attacking the UK offensively or even progressing further West than dealing with what Russia considers to be threats to them by US policy in the UKR. Russia was happy with true UKR independence - but that meant them not having military affiliation with NATO/EU. UKR were happy with remaining independent and having relations with both the West and Russia. The US were not happy with that - hence the 2014 Coupe which has lead to where we are now. Peace to all.

In 1917 when the UK Government ran out of money fighting Germany WW1, Lord Balfour created the Balfour Declaration. In which Jewish Businessmen financed UK WW1 and UK gifted Palestine to them as a reward. Couldn't we do the same to generate wealth and increase the size of the UK military again? I mean it worked last time around.

I have had to deal with folks like Major General 'Chip' before. The UK's top Terrorist Interrogation expert (RM Commando Officer and a Professor) ended up crying down on the phone and the Sandhurst Colonel (a BBC counter Terrorism expert) who couldn't follow simple verbal instructions.

@anonymousone6075 The Squadron leader of 56 Squadron (F3 Driver) at Leuchars was very much on the ball. Same with the fellows at the 22 SAS squadrons back in the day. Expertise was somewhat lacking compared with the part time 23 SAS reserves in certian areas though.
