tbh as a gen Z I don't fuckign get it either. we live in california and it's not exactly cold when every single kid at HS is wearing a hoodie. i've heard that in dry weather it might have to do with why afghanis wear those baggy ass clothes, that it's like portable shade depending on what kinda hoodie it is but that's just a guess

I saw that weird thing on a kid the other day where his long white socks were pulled up over the rolled up pant legs...I was so baffled by this choice that I stared as he walked by. Probably thought this 30yo mom of two was checking him out, but I hope the look of utter confusion on my face stopped that thought right away. The kid looked like my toddlers when they insisted they could dress themselves.

My husband and I are older millennials (Xennials, really), I have 2 sons that are younger Gen Z, and 2 younger kids that are Gen Alpha. So much fun all under one roof! 🤣🤣 It gets even better at family gatherings. My older brother is Gen X, my mom is a younger Baby Boomer but basically grew up as an older Gen X, and my Dad is solidly a Baby Boomer.

Millennial Spring Break...... I'm so sad that although I am millennial, and I even lived in Miami but I never did anything crazy for spring break.... Now that I recall, I think for every spring break, I'll drive to Shenandoah national park for a whole week hiking, then come home and hide in my apt watch Netflix for the rest of the one week to chill. Never went to the beach to get drunk with thousand other students and hookup.
