YESSSS I know.... 'Babylon' was made in 1994 so technically it's a Gen X track. But a large portion of ravers who were dancing to this track in the 90's were also Millennials. Shouts out to the Gen X Junglists 😉

Babylon was produced by Undercover agent (daz) who ran Splash & juice records, CyndicutFM & R.O.A.R. he single handedly gave a platform for us locally to be heard. He also created a wave that has made you create this video.

Being that games and media such as Toonami were a huge part of my childhood and forming my tastes in music, I've got a bias for the milennial era of Jungle. That said, jungle is jungle, and I'mma vibe to it all. Each era adds new layers of distinction and evolution. Something to be appreciated regardless of the point of origin.

If anybody was wondering where the vocal samples came from. It was a film called “Rockers” released in 1978. If you KZbin “Splash - Babylon (with original sample from Rockers)” you will find a video where somebody has placed the track over scenes from the movie and synced the vocals. It’s actually a sick edit and gives some context to the track 🫡
