Battle of the generations!
We are currently living in the heart of Gen Z, and they are a vocal generation with a strong identity!
Millennials, the generation born just before Gen Z, also made a lot of noise and continue to do so today.
We can often see a real war between the two generations on social media!
In today's video, we compared makeup and fashion of the two generations. You'll see the striking differences! For example, millennials apply lipstick by defining the mouth while following its contour. On the other hand, Gen Z overlines the mouth and uses several different shades for fuller lips!

I think all of the "millennial" trends here are not the actual millennial trends, but just basic makeup features. In fact, millennials had a lot of interesting trends like goth makeup, emo makeup and many others. And this video shows millenial part as boring.

Can we just stop with this Gen Z versus Millennial rubbish. The millennial and boomer generations actually make sense because millennials are young enough to be boomers children hence the next generation. Gen Z are not even the next generation they’re literally a few years younger than millennials so they’re not the “next gen”. I’m apparently a zillenial were you are bang in between the supposed curve. It’s just silly terms made by the media to pit us against each other. They’re bored of putting boomers against millennials so now they’re putting millennials against a made up generation. This is so dumb.

Like a huge thing. Tinted lip gloss was all we wore some times. Though bold liquid lips where a thing to. The bigest thing was pillow lips. It was all about fullness. I dont know what millennial they talk to for that lip. No one i knew or saw would wear that.

😂 lol Gen Z did Not invent anything new. A lot of what they do now is literally copy from times past- like the 50s-60s and 90s. There is no “this or that “ is better. Makeup is an art and should be appreciated as such. This video makes millennials makeup skills seem subpar, when in reality- that was the time where some of the best techniques came about.

I mean this is cool, but us millennials are out of the makeup experimentation stage of life. We’re grown, our skin is different than it was before and honestly I can’t see my self doing the makeup trends we used to do on my face now…..and really I can’t see a 30 year old Gen Z still rocking hot pink eyeliner. And even if I was Gen Z, my eye shape makes doing things like that difficult. I couldn’t even wear the whole “cut crease” trend when it was popular. Just didn’t look good on my face.
