The big problem is that New Hampshire doesn't get many strong earthquakes. maybe like one big one every two years, so nothing up here is really built for it so even small earthquakes can cause a bit of property damage and this place even though it was in the middle of a cement plant businesses and houses are just through the woods so they probably sustained a bit of damage

Also explosives can trigger small seismic events and considering we get so few up here it's not hard to imagine we were due for one soon and this brought it up.
