Mo has the Grand Ole Opry voice to bring the old classic country music sound back. I just love his voice so much, his wife's, sister's and brother's voice. I could listen them nonstop. I feel each word they sing. So much heart and soul in each song. Beautiful voices! Thanks y'all for continuing to sing. Please don't give up. Come back to Virginia so I can see y'all. I missed the last one you and Gene Watson (my very favorite country singer since the 80's) were at. I had Gene's cassette tape and played it to death. Just ordered the cassette tape a couple years ago because it's not on CD and I've enjoyed listening to it again.

That was so fun. All four were well worth doing. I really hope Nashville catches on to how many people still scare about the real deal, country music makers. Thanks again Don. This was a bright spot in a pretty dull week.💞

Been very distracted the last few days. So saddened by the passing of John Prine. RIP John. Man I loved his writing. DON!!! Man, the 4 days of MO and Gene. How awesome is that. Not needing much feedback. I'm just here soaking it in, swimming in the comfort and sound these guys and gal gave us. What a treat. Thanks for the uninterrupted run. Awesome!

Curb is releasing Mo's ENTIRE album very soon. His new album title, "ain't lookin back". He WAS suppose to release a new song every 3 weeks, but I think the lack of travel to promote, has maybe changed that. So far just "ain't lookin back" & "ain't bad for a good ol' boy " singles have been released. Very entertaining four pack. Thanks for doing this one Don.

@David Johnson That's wonderful news about Mo's album! As for the lack of travel, maybe we can make up for some of that on here, although new releases tend to be blocked. We'll see how things progress.

Mo has a song called “Country” that has an awesome play on words I enjoyed all 4 of these I love his Boy and Girl Thing. Gene does duos with Rhonda Vincent also. One thought provoking one is if We Keep Letting Things Go Bad they’ll soon be Gone for Good and another one “your money and my good looks

Hey Don you should check out a clip of Waylon doing Waymore's Blues acoustically with Jessi sitting next to him if you like the concept of a wife reacting to lyrics of her husbands song.again thanks for doing what you do
@RockN2Country4 жыл бұрын
@wgj4ever long I can't say I like the concept of a wife sitting next to her husband because I anticipate either the impending heartache or the pots being thrown. Ha!! Then again, it depends on the song. :-)

I'm happy you decided to play it anyway. I first heard this a year or so ago and loved the song. It was nice to see the interaction with the people there. If I'm honest I think the song would've sounded better with out her singing in the background. Just seemed like she was late and didn't harmonize. Maybe I'm wrong, Lord knows I can't sing a lick. Anyway, have a good one.

Good job. He couldn't have teamed up with anyone any better than Gene Watson. Gene Watson & Larry Gatlin will totally destroy you on the song they do together Bitter They Are Harder They Fall. Heres a song I would have gotten drunk to & in trouble if I was still drinking. But I quit @ 29 years old cause I would grow & get into trouble.
