Too many of our last batch of mp's become way to comfortable in the intuition of Westminster, it's clear that independence can't be achieved via Westminster, we should reject Westminster reconvene in Scotland and put the question to the Scottish people regardless of what Westminster says, let them chase us. The only way Scotland will become independent is if we have all independence parties supporting a Scotland United approach..but right now it seems the SNP don't want that ! They have been asked and declined..So it appears the SNP and not Westminster are holding Scotland back..I have voted SNP for over 40 years but have sent my postal vote for Alba..I want Independence not devolution ! Way to many career politicians in the SNP and no one would be surprised if they have been infiltrated by the British establishment. Saor Alba

Eva only got 2.1% of the votes and finished in seventh place in the Alloa and Grangemouth constituency election in the 2024 Westminster general election. Eva isn't going to achieve anything at Westminster.

@@martindornan1667 She seems to be living in the past, when socialism was progressing but this was was quickly being followed by consumerism and a more affluent society. The days she harks back for are gone as the world overtakes Scotland and we are caught up in this corporate world. Even the unions bow to the global corporations.

In the Alloa and Grangemouth 2024 general election results Eva Comrie the woman in the video only got 2.1% of the votes, 881 people voted for her and she finished in seventh place. At least Eva Comrie did better than the Alba candidate ex MP Kenny MacAskill in the Alloa and Grangemouth constituency election who got 1.5% of the vote, only 638 people voted for Kenny MacAskill and he finished in eighth place.

Too many independence supporters are seeing the SNP as a tired and ineffective party with increasing levels of incompetence. Most of the achievements listed in their literature are from a long time ago. And most are unlikely to be reversed by Labour. Too many own goals like the panic freezing of Council Tax by Humza and trying to give Calmac a contract in perpetuity when they have performed so poorly 35:40

Kate Forbes said that the Scottish government after extensive analysis and taking legal advice, because of The UK Subsidy control Act the Scottish government cannot give the contract to build 7 small ferries worth £175 million directly to Ferguson marine. She said that if the contract was given directly to Ferguson marine it would be held up in the courts. Ferguson marine will have to put in a bid for the contract in partnership with other shipbuilding yards or by themselves. When there is a cost of living crisis with food prices going up by 33% over the past two years, energy prices still high and rents and mortgage costs high, many Scottish people are struggling to survive. Not putting up the Scottish council tax in 2024 was a good thing. How do you know what this red Tory government will do in the future. Starmer Westminster prime minister has already said that Labour will not get rid of the rape clause, two child benefit cap even though it would take 600,000 children out of poverty. He also said that Labour isn't going to get rid of the Westminster bedroom tax that the Scottish Government mitigate and saves poor Scottish people losing a percentage of their housing benefit. Rachel Reid Westminster chancellor has announced that Labour ( red Tories) is cutting the winter fuel allowance of up to £300 so that only people on pension credit will get it. Labour knows that over 800,000 poor pensioners who should get pension credit do not get it. People on low income who just missed out on pension credit. People with high energy needs because of disabilities or illness Age Concern said that 2 million poor pensioners will lose their winter fuel allowance. I don't think this action by the red Tories will help the winter death figures come down.
