I am normally a BF Goodrich radial all-terrain type of guy. These tires look a lot like them. So far, they have been awesome, and every bit as good as the BFG's.

They still look great. But, that tire size is a little much for a one inch spacer lift on the front. I had to trim some of the inner fender molding off due to rubbing. My turning radius was really reduced at first.

Just bought the exact same rims ARW AR 23 16x8 but got TOYO OPEN COUNTRY AT 3 tires the new ones . Total cost of RIMS & TIRES with Free Brand new Chrome lug nuts AND locking lugs with Chrome Center caps for $ 1,486 taxes included. They went on a Toyota 4 runner . That’s the price in US dollars but we live in ALBERTA CANADA 🇨🇦.

Usually 16-18mpg in mixed driving. I noticed a definite 1-2 mpg loss switching to those tires.

No spacers. I think the wheels had an offset that brought them out, for a wider stance.

+sinaloacosala1 Yes! The metal on the roof was starting to rust really bad. I had to cover it with something to slow the rust and protect the remaining metal. I used the extra on the trim. I was planning to paint truck bed liner on the whole Jeep, but that stuff is really harsh. Migh just use primer to slow rust in other areas.

What lift are you running to fit the 265/70r15's? I just bought the exact same setup from Tirerack.com and am wondering if I'll be able to get away with installing them without a lift. If not, I'll probably just grab a 3" lift, but I'd love to avoid spending more cash if possible.

They did great. They outlived the Jeep. An F150 ran a red light and totalled it.

***** Thanks for the feedback. :) Fyi: That tire and wheel size looks great, but is a little much for just a one inch lift on a Cherokee. Even though I've trimmed the inner fender, and the tires have worn down, I still get some tire rub when I turn sharply. I will probably go down a size on my next tire purchase, or install at least a 3" lift. The tire traction in snow is excellent!

+Alan Brown They are not loud at all, compared to other tires I've owned. I hear more noise from the wind due to the Cherokee's 1999 aged weather stripping.

What backspacing are the wheels?

I have two inch lift Skyjacker leaf springs on the rear, with a one inch coil spring spacer on front. .I am getting some rubbing when turning sharply in parking lots. I trimmbed some of the plastic on the inside of the fender to help alleviate this problem. I still get a little rubbing, but not bad. I recommend at least two inches front end lift for this tire/wheel combo.

Thanks! I just installed them today without any lift and to say I'm getting some rubbing would be the understatement of the century! I just ordered the Skyjacker 3" lift with the full leaf spring packs. I'm hoping that will suffice. I expect a little rub at full wheel lock but I can live with that.

For me, It really reduced the rubbing with a little trimming on the inside of the fender flairs. I just used the serrated blade on my Leatherman and cut off the small sections of plastic right where the tires were rubbing. Since it's the area trimmed, is on the inside, you really don't see it .

what would you rate these out 1/10? i am looking for some good cheap all terrains for my 2004 single cab chevy 1500 4x4, would i need tires with more tread? anyones opinion on these tires are welcome. :] thank you.

I would rate them 8 or 9. Not 10, since gas mileage did suffer a bit more than expected. They are wearing better than more expensive BFG's. That size is a little big for me, but should work great on a full size Chevy truck!

Sweet sounds great! thank you, but i have one last question, what would you say about their off road use?, mainly on mud,i don't intend to go in search of getting stuck, but i go fishing hunting a lot of the time so it is almost inevitable i will be going through mud at some point and time.

These tires are a good compromise of off/on road use. They work well in snow, mud and rain, as well as on dry pavement.

I think that they are negative offset, so that brings the tires out, and makes the dish have the deep look.
