This is coming together so well, I hope you keep posting. I have seen this swap done a few times, poorly. Your results so far have me thinking about doing this with my rough ‘70 charger and my 2011 Vic. Looking fantastic!

It’s definitely a swap worth considering! My good friend will have the doner Vic to me soon for his charger. They surprisingly match up very well once you figure out where to cut them apart

Great job! Rims and tires are sick! Always wanted to try and do one like this! Keep all the painted panels their original color! That is awesome! Love the channel! Keep it up brother! Blessings!

I’m confused. You said you put a 68 charger body over a 2002 crown Vic so where does the coronet fit in? You mentioned coronet several times in the video?

Life had swept me off my feet for a bit. Standing tall and have everything to finish this one up. Stay tuned brother, I promise it’s well on its way! Merry Christmas!

Cool build! How are you dealing with the different wheelbases? Crown vic is 114.7" Charger is 117"?
@dirtcheapgarage2094 Жыл бұрын
Not gonna worry much about that. Just gonna line it all up as good as it’s gonna get. From the looks of the wells it’s gonna fit pretty decent around that area. As long as I can fit the turbine wheels we’re golden!

That's just over an inch difference from each wheel. You'll never notice it if you're not looking. Just a couple examples: lifted Cherokees other than the xj pulls the wheels closer to the center of the vehicle. Same with other lifted vehicles on factory coil spring 4 link suspension.

How u get it titled
@dirtcheapgarage2094 Жыл бұрын
Not sure how it’s gonna work yet. I got a title to the Vic and I have a title to match the car I’m building. Will be uploading more very soon once the door jams and tail light panel gets here.
