The Hell with G.M. This raggedy company turned the city of Pontiac and Fint into ghost towns closing all those facilities just to move out of the state of Michigan which didn't make any sense let alone all the other facilities they close around Michigan...the Factory on Mound I believe was a transmission facility for over 40-50 years put them out of work it's just ridiculous but they want our support to buy their vehicles but took 1000's of jobs away from the main people who was supporting them...GO TO HELL G.M.

Question 1: How quickly can you ramp up production? Response: We have close to half a million people who have raised their hands for the Hummer and Liryq, and this is just the beginning. Question 2: GM is not getting the same love from investors, what do you think? Response: We're going to do 30 EVs by 2025. My thoughts: Demand doesn't matter. You can have 5 million reservations for all I care, wouldn't make a difference. The question was how you will ramp up, not how many people admire your trucks. Also, 30 EV models by 2025 does not magically increase total production. If anything, you are sacrificing total production by introducing more complexity into manufacturing new designs that could otherwise benefit from greater economies of scale had they just been 5-8 EV models instead. If future production hell wasn't a big enough challenge for you already, then congrats, you've just multiplied the effects.

Demand crates need for investment. Electrifying is not cheap - it will cost them 10ns if billions of $. If there is no demand why invest the money? Once the big car manufacturers put their capital and engineering resources into electrification it will only take a decade to switch off fossil fuels for transportation. This is huge. EV adoption is accelerating every year. Exponential not linear. The only limiting factor is batteries. The number of electric vehicles and types of vehicles and trucks is growing. Many people are holding off buying a new car or scooter until the electric vehicle they want becomes available. Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs and amazing technology. Gasoline and diesel are OLD polluting technology. So last century. Electric cars, electric trucks, electric buses, electric trash haulers, electric snow blowers, electric lawn mowers, electric weed whackers, electric hedge trimmers, electric snow mobiles, electric water craft, electric garden tools, electric mechanic tools, electric motor cycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric farm tractors, electric construction equipment, electric delivery vehicles, ...... everything is going electric.
