No. I am a retired engineer and electronics hobbyist, who started buying and selling equipment for my hobby. I started making the videos in 2011, as a means to prove to potential buyers that my equipment actually does what they are supposed to do. Then I discovered that a lot of people seemed to learn more about the equipment in the process. So, I have tried to make them somewhat educational as well. For instance, just how do you prove that equipment is working or not? Also, I have presented equipment that I have designed and built, but did not put up for sale. So, it is a mixed bag.

Not sure of reading being close. 722f dial on 200 meter reads 50.9. How is that close.

You have very tight control of the position of the rotating capacitor. Dial in any number on the calibration chart and it can tell you very precisely what the capacitance will be.
