It was Nina's fault that Shilo found out about Willow's baby. She constantly sticks her nose in Willow's business. She gets in Willow's face all of the time playing the victim like she has never done anything wrong. I don’t think Carly was actually in the wrong. She made a promise to Harmony mother to mother even after she tried killing Carly, not to tell Nina. Harmony didn’t tell Carly the full story of how everything unfolded before she died so we won’t have the details. It is odd Nina couldn’t embrace Willow as a person but could embrace and defend Nelle. She also loves Sasha and Charlotte as her own. She built a solid stepmom rapport with Josslyn and is even building a bonus mom relationship with Donna and to a lesser extent Avery. Willow and Sasha seem to be easy people to get along with Willow even more so than Sasha. It’s interesting how personalities clash. Also we should note Carly promised Harmony she would also look out for Willow and Carly does love Willow as a person and daughter not just as a daughter in law. I also see it from Nina’s viewpoint. This story has been 3-5 years in the making. I thought they dragged the reveal out but the reveal was well done because of the performances of LW and CW. As fans we deserved this Payoff Storyline.

Carly would rather keep a promise to a MURDERER than to allow a mother and daughter the opportunity to overcome their disdain for each other and try to build a relationship, the way she and her biological mother were able to. After all of the hate, hurt, and pain she and Bobbie went through with each other, she of all people should have wanted Willow to know who her mother was. The REAL reason she kept that secret was because of her hate for Nina, not to protect a grown woman with her own child on the way. Denise didn’t even really know Carly, but she could even see her for who and what she really is.

I thought Carly and Nina were friends at one point never close but still they had a friendship on some level at one point ? Would you say they were only ever Cordial Acquaintances? I hope they will continue the storyline so the writing reflects Bobbie and Carly’s History. Bobbie has been in Nina and Carly’s position before. Carly has been in Willow’s position. I believe Carly loves Willow like a daughter. I don’t believe she would ever use Willow as collateral damage. Carly knows both of Nina’s daughters better than Nina does. If Ava and Carly can become BFFs I think Nina and Carly could end their friend and either create a close friendship or rediscover their old friendship and use their history in forging a deeper bond. Carly and Ava even get along for Avery’s sake. Also whatever else Harmony was, she was the only mother Willow knew. Harmony loved Willow without a doubt. I’m not campaigning for Harmony as Mother of the year because we know she wasn’t but she was a constant source of love for Willow until the day she took her last breath. Denise’s motivations were purely financial so I don’t know why you would use a not so reformed cult member’s character assessment as anything of value. Love her or Hate Her Carly( character) is an all time Great leading Soap Superstar.

I hate that fact the GH writers killed off Silas, Kiki, Madeleine and Nelle (pains me to say that about Nelle) because they all factor into this twisted storyline. I don't see why Carly shouldn't practice what she expects from others when she thinks they're supposed to forget her history of getting into others' buisness, attempting to take others' spouses and children, repeatedly lying to police or friends to cover up criminal activity, perjury in court, and withholding the truth from Nik, Sonny, AJ, and many other characters regarding their own children in a span of 30 years, which she does again with Nelle, Willow, and Nina. Nina's anger seems valid, especially given Carly's past actions and none of the characters ability to stay out of others' buisness. What would really suck is if Britt, being related, was Willows only match. Let's say I buy Carlys reasoning at first. I mean she found out Harmony wasn't lying and Willow did say she didn't want to know. Thing is the moment Carly knew Willow changed her mind Carly should've come forward. Had that happened, fine, whatever. Defensible enough. Instead she didn't. Additionalyl, after finding out Willow was dying of cancer and needed bone marrow she didn't want Drew saying anything because "timing". In a way she was willing to Willow at further risk to protect herself. What Nina did with Sonny wasn't much better. Nina faced her shit. Now Carly should do the same and have some real progress. Take a vacation for a couple months and return for the Nurses ball and the 60th anniversary.

Completely agree, just don't forget how she sabotaged Drew. And I would also add, she should've told Willow right at the beginning that Harmony told her who her birth mother was. Then she should have given Willow the option if she wanted to know or not. If Willow said she still didn't want to know, at least it would be open down the line if she changed her mind. The ball would be in Willow's court and she could decide her own fate.

But Carly should've been completely clear with Willow right away that she knew the identity of her birth mother and if she changed her mind at any time, she could go to her. She literally just lost Harmony, so she was still processing that. Carly should've known that she needed time to think this over. Or at least when Willow did make it clear to everyone, including Carly, that she wanted to find her birth parents, cancer or no cancer, Carly should have told her. Willow is an adult and could've made a decision from there. The cancer might've triggered it, but Willow also did share how much she wanted to get to know her birth family even if she wasn't in a health crisis. At so many different moments Carly could've done the right thing, instead she's done an eleventh hour disclosure that is only going to make it harder on Willow, because she now has to process all of this while she's on the brink of death.

Honestly, Carly finally decided to do the right thing… Even if it was too late (time frame wise), but mostly because she needed Nina to know in order to save Willow. Not that I care too much about what happens to Nina, but Carly has always done it this way, with everything... kept certain information secret, or altered the reality of things to her convenience... We know that Carly did a DNA test to find out if what Harmony said was true… But then she decided to keep it a secret… She had a couple of correct choices to make: tell Willow that she had a "lead" about who the biological mother was, or tell Nina that she knew Willow was the biological daughter... Whether or not the two wanted to have a relationship with each other, it wasn't for Carly to decide.
