I get Carly has raised Avery and been there for every moment and doesn't want that taken from her, but like Ava is her mother. Sonny is gone. Ava has every right to claim her kid and she doesn't have to allow Carly any access to her, but she offered her visitation. Sure this is a terrible time considering Sonny was just declared dead, but there's no right time for something like this. Plus Ava is right about the danger. It makes logistical sense to keep Avery out of Cyrus' sights.

I love my girl, Carly...She is in the wrong. I love Ava, too. (Fierceness to the max.) Avery is Ava’s daughter, not Carly’s. It’s not right for her to keep Avery from her mom despite Ava’s past. Ava is being mature and so was Nikolas by not intervening while this conversation is taking place. Sonny and Ava had a custody agreement not Sonny, Ava, and Carly. Carly has never liked the idea of Ava being in Avery’s life. She has to get over that. I thought she would have learned from her own past mistakes not to keep children away from their parents (Yes, this includes her children with Sonny, Jax, and AJ/stepchildren as well). This isn’t about her. It’s about Avery and her needs as well. I’m not a fan of Carly keeping information about Nina’s child away from her. Carly is grieving. Relax everyone- including Ava lol it could’ve waited til the next day. Avery could’ve stayed one night. These things can be true and Ava would still be within her rights. Anyone who feels like that convo needed to happen while Carly is in the state she’s in, is lacking a serious amount of tact and empathy.

Well after Nickolas faked his death for three years and terrorized Ava into a nuthouse he has no room to be mad about that. Also, yes Ava is Avery's mother and theoretically she has every legal right to her, however, given the kind of mother Ava was to KiKi, (and even when KiKi was alive she made sure Sonny got custody and told a judge Ava wasn't fit to be anyone's mother, I think Avery would be better off with Carly. Just my opinion.
