In case you didn't already know, switching sides in a revolution will auto-incorporate some states and reduce their turmoil to zero. It's an exploit for sure, but having an incorporated Beijing as GB et al. in 1837 is pretty cool, except you'll have a huge bureaucracy defecit.

Export paper and it uses soft wood so build paper Mills, 2 benifits 1) soft wood price goes 📈 2) University and gov. Building gets cheaper input 3)then use bankroll money to fund your country for education using University with high throughput

yea i just tried on one of my saves as usa, u can export opium and it gives you opium wars and the gives them the ‘lost opium war’ modifier; u don’t have to just be UK

Is it more efficient to subsidize electric plants to keep them fully employed in states where they can't employ because of offering lower wages compared to other industries, in order to keep all the industries on electric PMs, or switch off the electric PMs? I recall you saying the electric PMs are great, but electric generation PMs are bad. Assuming you have the right amount of electric plants, and not 20 more than you need because the auto-queue went nuts. I have the coal-fired plants for generation atm.

I told one of the devs who wanted to know which PMs I thought was the worst that they should tune down the PMs that use ele and improve the the power plant PMs and that this would fix this problem. You could sub it, sure, but that feels super bad if you really only want it to have 25% employment. Each level produces a ton of ele.

There has to be NO other diplo plays you can join and you have to not be involved in a war - it's not letting you swap because it thinks you're swapping against yourself (when you are on the same side of a diplo play as yourself)

Yeah, AI never seems to give up their Bankrolls unless you do something directly against them. I had Prussia bankroll me for like 50 years and they went bankrupt and was never strong enough to resolve Schleswig-Holstein. Their prestige tanked after they went Bankrupt, so I made them a Protectorate.

8:57 What is the middle strata in nebraska doing to get an SoL of SEVENTY-FIVE? The upper strata has less than 25 there, an about 40 in some other states.

Very curious - I assume it's that Homsteading gives some of them ownership and there is a pop that's underpopulated, letting it have massive SoL. If you get 99 SoL anywhere it's going to be on a Pop that has a population of like 1.

What do you reccomend as timing to switch from higher to lower taxes? Maybe its out of date now, but i heard lower taxes in the long run increases economic growth since pops buy more, but it seems the construction you can get with higher taxes might be better?

There's no hard timing, but it's a matter of (mainly) starting to run out of peasants and valuing SoL more relative to construction than you did before. New migration is a serious confound, as you might just never want to pull back. Practically speaking, you do want to often adjust 1-2 levels to hit legitimacy markers.

The idea for a new tutorial! How to trigger a revolution as early as possible, take the side of revolutionaries, and win a civil war? Is it even possible? Does it make sense to do for a quick reforming, or just for roleplaying perspective? As a reference, I propose to take very conservative Russia, and trigger an anti-monarchist pro-republican revolution as quickly as possible from the start.

That's a pretty big "other than" - they support an IG that is politically better and they put a lot more money into the investment pool. It also decreases unused arable land though, which decreases migration attraction

Constantine is normally in N. Africa, just not that Constantine
