Hysterically Kellan Lutz who plays the Marine with the camera, is portraying Jason Lilley. The funny part is Jason Lilley went on to become part of MARSOC Marine Raiders. And the real Jason Lilley did audition to play himself but was passed cause apparently he couldn’t play himself
@mellifont9613 күн бұрын
@@rafael7224 its quite common. Corporal Person auditioned for himself but they said no. I have been interested in filmmaking and it seems like there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that makes acting really tough. Not only do you have to act like a certain character or person but you have to have intimate knowledge of how to move around infront of a camera. This comedian Tim Dillon got a small acting part and he mentioned on his podcast that he did not expect how difficult it would be. The director was getting mad at him because he kept doing small details of every take differently without realizing.

The Supply units I was in, were always drama filled, bickering, and to add old NCO's & officers, who could not hack it any longer with original MOS(Infantry, Military Police), but wanted to treat the supply units the same. Let's not forget Smedley Butler. This heroic officer received the Medal of Honor twice, along with such a slew of other awards that he was the most decorated Marine in history when he died. He rose to the rank of Major General, the highest officer rank at that time. Although he fought wars in Mexico, Haiti, China, and France, he is also known for his pacifism and antiwar speeches. He wrote the book War is a Racket, which denounces the military-industrial complex. He also uncovered a fascist plot against President Roosevelt.
