Generation Zero. Welcome to 1980's Sweden. The local population has disappeared, and hostile machines roam the streets fight off the hostile machines solo or with a team, scavenge for weapons and loot in the fight to survive and find out what or who caused all of this.
My gameplay walkthrough will include main missions kicking some robot arse safe house unlocks collectibles skill unlocks as we try to find out what went wrong, oh and any and all goodies we come across whilst playing !

A top 3 or 5 game for me, I doubt this will ever not be loaded on my pc. If I just want to burn an hour I hop in blast the bots.

Glad I caught a new video early. Me and my friend found a glitch that allows us to go to the "main land" outside of the main map. I'm working on getting footage for my channel. Hopefully, I'll have it this weekend. I'm not a huge creator, and I thought that you might be able to get it out.

Thats fair enough. I think it's great that they don't get tied up with one game and get to make another, even better one based on the experience they made with GenZero. I absolutely love coming back to it and even replay it, mind you with mods. GZ is definitely a special game and I too started playing in 2020. I was expecting another island to open up through a DLC and call it a day then. Oh well, GREAT AS IS!

yeah I agree it's a little bit sad but they have been working for 6 years! and it has to stop at some point and I look on the bright side. now a lot of the Mods if not all of them should be stable after they have been updated and future mods should also always be able to function, just look at Fallout New Vegas. when a game finally stops being updated, it is sad but also a good thing! because now the community can fully take control and don't have to worry about code updating and various issues with different versions of the game

So what about the game breaking glitches? They are still present especially on the console version of the game. I mean I loved and enjoyed the game very much but the companion is still pretty broken so much that it simply serves no purpose. There's a huge problem with it's performance as there are lots of times where xp won't be collected nor will threat levels increase. But the biggest issue in my opinion is that the game can become unfuntional once you reach certain areas of the map. Frames drop dramatically with no real reason, and honestly the showdown update is still very much broken for the console version of the game. If they are done and are fine with this departure. This may bring some negativity from the console side of the game. I am happy that the game is pretty much done and enjoyable. But it is sad to see that the console version is getting left in the dirt rather than reviewed and fixed.

I recall one house with several ticks which for reasons unknown, tanked the fps on my PS5 PRO but apart from that bug, the performance has been really good on the whole. Btw, once the last tick was destroyed, it was a solid 60fps again.

I remember the few times in the center of the farmlands there would just be two firebirds and it would tank down to 12 fps pretty crazy. But yes the game overall runs good but some improvements on this side would make a nice difference before the dev's departure.

I pre-ordered this game…. And I’ve been playing it since then…. I played the original story before they add the new characters to the game, so basically I played two different versions of the game…. I bought every DLC and enjoy it. This game is not for everyone … my friend say it’s boring…. But for me…… oh man! It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played! Just having the feature to change parts to every weapon, was something revolutionary back then!

Same here, from the very beginning watching them add to this game. I took my time getting the dlc's as I didn't think much of some of the weapons, but ended up with them all in the end. It would be great to see some fixes & adjustments, but all in all I cannot complain to much after spending hundreds of hours in this game.

Ive been playing GZ since 2020 and watching this channel for years. I'm 1580+ hours in to GZ with 72/72 achievements gained. Met some great players (still on my friends list) who taught me alot early on and I passed that knowledge on countless times. Been given guns and given plenty away to the needy ! Thanks for the memories devs it's been a blast !

I had a great time with almost 6 years and/but exactly 4281 hours playing this game.. It was a good run and is a good game.. it truly was/is.. Its a shame for me they are done with it but Ive I will always cherish all those hours of fun.. Thanks Avalance and Systemic Reaction for Generation Zero.

I remember getting the game on my ps4 when it first released. I remember it never saving due to not being signed into ps plus and I remember restarting it and seeing how far I could get for a good while.Years later I’ve been coming back to it randomly and restart but it does save for me now and I really think it’s weird how they added humans into the base game story I just kinda didn’t care for it

they could do more, the game is very meh, the combat is repetitive all of the robots do the same thing maybe just with a few more weapons, and it is poorly optimized, I could play atomic heart medium graphics all fine almost zero lag, but generation zero as low as they can go it legs when I shoot or look at the wrong place, comparing the two since both are there first games I think and open world,

Yeah that one needs to be fix as watching the robots on robots battles isn't fun when they floating there doing nothing.

It’s definitely been one of my favourite games. I’ve just looked at my stats for this game and I’ve played it for 38 days 3hrs 59mins. 32.047 machines destroyed 😂.

Such a good game and it’s got quite a big map and not all the areas have been covered up on the map that’s why I thought there was gonna be loads of updates and different levels and missions

Overall, a great game and game world. I played on PS4/5 and the game now is nothing like the game when I started playing about four years or so ago. I do feel the game never reached to peak that it could of and went down the Base building route which I never enjoyed. It was all about the story for me which always felt in-complete. Hey ho… still a great game.

This game had a great run. But why end it?🤷‍♀... There is so much the developers can do with it for example...changing the location. Create a continuation in America, or any other country in the same era with various weapons, tech, and stealth tactics. The possibilities are endless!

So what are they doing shutting down the servers or what because I just started playing this game and I just had to put it down because my dad's cancer and his recent death. I mean I really enjoyed this game except for the lack of NPC survivors around the map trying to fight for their life. The only other thing I had a problem with was too much loot. I was really hoping one day to play this game with my friends after they both get it on PS4 or PS5 even if I have to buy it for them. I hope we do get a new generation zero two because I'd like to continue playing this game even if it is a new start.

In what universe are you reading not bad comments? One look at steam comments will clearly show anyone that too many players are very unhappy about not having anymore bug fixes and patches done to the game, many now cannot even play the game on the final update and some lost saves. I myself am furious at the amount of support and feedback when we still have 6 year old bugs that this ignorant team have refused to fix and now they want to run away! I loved this game and wanted all my friends to as well but this unforgettable act of dropping a VERY unfinished game is despicable.
