The first huge bodybuilder I saw when I walked into World Gym in Venice in 1984 was Lee Haney. The most amazing physique I’d ever seen. I said that guy is going to be Mr Olympia. A few years later I saw Rich guest pose to Juke Box Hero in Anaheim and I said that guy should be Mr Olympia. Unfortunately for Rich, he had the only person in the whole world who he couldn’t beat to compete against year after year. It was a great era. The greatest genetics in Lee v the greatest drive and desire in Rich. Together on a stage they made almost all the others fade into the background.

Wow, such a beautiful thing to see these two great men in fellowship. These are genuine iconic, living legends of our sport. Incredible to witness a 30 year + relationship still going strong to this day; with no beefing, jealousy etc. You will never hear Haney & Gaspari say a bad word about each other... Nowadays, these bodybuilders are constantly trash talking each other, beefing, backstabbing, and foul mouthed role models. It's farcical! Even Mr. Olympia Phil Heath was bad mouthing and cursing a social media blogger in a video selfie he did, straight after his 7th Olympia win... Absolutely *no class!*

I still think Gaspari should have won at least one Olympia but Weider was looking to consolidate that aura of invincible champion in Haney as he did it with Arnold. Although that doesn't matter much now. They took the rivalry to another level in the 80s, they are two living legends of this sport. 13:24

I think Rich overcame much of his genetic negatives via training, whereas many guys only had to enhance their genetic blessings. So what you see now with the relatively small biceps and lower pec dominance are just signs of what he overcame.

What i dont get is why these old rich men marry very young women ..20...30 years and more younger than them when they can get women who are closer their age even 10 years younger that are beautiful and more mature than them young ones?..i have seen good looking women who are older or aged well and they have awesome personalities and will stick with you ...coz these younger ones will leave you all paranoid coz u are always wondering if they are cheating on you or are with u jist for the money..its a hard situation that they put themselves in
