Generative A.I. // An Interview on My Opinions

Logan Reed reached out to me to discuss my thoughts on Generative A.I. in the work place and social / political aspects.

Really great video.a lot are worried by A.I. but at the end of the day it is just a tool. Like what you say about being behind the tool. Many people assume because they have a great camera that they are a great film maker. But what problem are they solving, when you ask, its about the art, which is fine, but, again what are you solving for the client? It normally stumps them a little. I use A.I all the time for efficiency, it helps streamline what I do, it gets me there faster. Its not perfect but, perfectionism is the root to procrastination.

Quite literally everything you just said is perfect and concise. We're going to be making a few more AI focused videos here in the short future. We see quite a few businesses seeing AI as either a massive threat or a potential way to cut out artists from their payroll. I think everything you said was dead on. At the end of the day any service that you employ is taking care of a problem. Whether that problem be weeds in your front yard, getting more eyes to your website, or selling products. It comes down to solving a problem. And while I believe AI is a wonderful hammer to build a table, unless you actually know what you're doing both with the branding and marketing but also with the AI coding and keywording at the same time all wrapped up like a burrito. It's not going to help you. It will be a Band-Aid on a lightsaber wound. Basically fruitless and meaningless.

@@NightOwlsMedia I do like your videos, it feels like natural discussions rather than trends. Its stuff you use in your business which is why the content feels genuine and not forced to comply with fleeting trends. A.I will eventually be a big leap. Just like farmers used to use horses to plough the fields, the tractor didn't take away, it made farmers more efficient and productive. Same with A.I it allows people who are solo operators in their business to compete at a level that ensures success for their level. We can all get caught up in Art, but good art is rare, so the rest of us need to live in practicality with artistic flair. Practicality requires efficiency. A.I. is simply a way to do this faster.

@@DatrysiadMedia ahhhhh perfectly said!!!! Very good analogy as well. I tend to always seek out an analogy of a more common modern technology, but you're absolutely right. I think it's almost smarter to use older technology like that as more of a ubiquitous stance when talking about acceptance. And I really appreciate the compliment man, we're doing an episode of coffee and cameras today so hopefully I'm trying to get in the mood to be a little more energetic and fun.
